Waterfront vacation rentals in Punta Gorda

My room was clean and comfortable, with all listed amenities. The location is near the water and comfortably peaceful. Overall the place is a pretty solid value for anyone looking to avoid the nearby resort costs.

We felt that a few things could have been better clarified in the guide. 1. Guide startes "washing machine and separate dryer are in the utility room next to kitchen". Not so. Laundry facility is in the first building. Laundry room is pretty messy. 2. We figured out, hopefully correctly, that the whole back area from the 1st building to the last are "commons" area, since the beach area was not at our unit (#8). BBQ was not at our unit, but there were a couple in the presumably "commons" area. If this is so, we feel this should be mentioned in the guide. 3. Guide states propane tank is in the garage. There is no garage. 4. Safety concern - The deck could use some repairs. Screws and nails are loose. There is one board in which the end of one side has popped up. 5. Just a suggestion. Unit could use a full length mirror. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay, resident alligator and green iguana were a nice rustic addition.

This rental is PERFECT! So homey and so close to the beach! I can go on and on about how perfect this vacation was for us!!

A brilliant birthday retreat in absolutely every way possible! Jennifer and John could not have been more accommodating: friendly, proactive, informative about local amenities and wonderfully supportive when we encountered car issues at checkout. Accomplished hosts, the apartment was immaculate, stocked with more goodies and equipment than we could possibly have imagined we might find and enjoy. A beautifully styled home-away-from-home surrounded by some stunning spaces to walk or drive to. It made our stay and the birthday we were celebrating, Thank you!

Just as described. Clean. Smells good. Comfy. On the canal. Wish I would have brought fishing gear! Easy to get to. Food places close.

We especially appreciated the cozy outdoor space where we could sit and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Our host was responsive and kind, making check-in and communication a breeze. Evan was responsive from the day that we booked his beautiful home. Anytime I had texted him. he got right back to me. The thing that stands out most is that there was not a hairdryer, and he had one shipped the very next day to me. Evan is definitely a super host! I would recommend his beautiful home that sits on a canal in a heartbeat! It was wonderful sitting in the lanai, and watching the fish jump! Very convenient to so many places in the area. The amount of attention to detail throughout the lovely home is thoughtful and appreciated. The exceptional hospitality and care given to think of everything one could need to enjoy their stay was thought of. Grace and her staff were attentive and caring while showing respect for our time by providing detail instructions, communication and prompt with follow up. They were accommodating to us and our travel needs. I rather enjoyed the extra detail and touches around the home that stood out to me as going above and beyond!

Host was great to work with, very responsive!. House was clean, near grocery, restaurants and some shopping. Loved the backyard pool, very relaxing and quiet!

We had a great time! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved that it was close to multiple beaches so we could explore - Sanibel Island, Fort Myers and more. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hanging out in the outdoor area. My son even caught some catfish off the dock. The game room was perfect for evenings when we needed a break from the sun. Highly recommend and have already had requests from friends & family to share the listing!

Ed's place has become our happy place and our home away from home! This trip was so relaxing and healing after a surgery...just what I needed. Great sunsets!

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this location and it does not disappoint! The place has been renovated and looks great! The host is clear and we had no issues getting into the condo. I used the laundry room and that was straight forward. The location is so close to the beach. We enjoyed our time and plan to come back!

Amy is an extremely thoughtful and responsive host that clearly exhibits what Airbnb is meant to be. Her place in Siesta Key is right on the beach with perfect amenities and easy access. My friends and I have been vacationing in Siesta Key for almost a decade and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Thank you Amy!

Caihlin was a fantastic host. Very responsive to our questions/concerns. The place was just as beautiful as the pictures showed and we enjoyed everything about it. There were plenty of beach items to use, so we didn't need to purchase anything to enjoy the beach. There were plenty of games to play, books to read and even a drawer full of extra batteries for the TV remote if needed. We even had access to their 2 bikes and took an enjoyable morning bike ride into Fort Myers beach. You will not be disappointed at all with your stay.

The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth. The location was peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We especially enjoyed being right on the water for the beautiful sunsets.

Lisa and Chris's place was wonderful. Their place was clean and beautiful. They had a little welcome bowl of snacks, a couple drinks and even extra sunblock if needed. They also responded very quickly whenever we had any questions and offered a late checkout if needed. Would definitely recommended.
