Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Poitou-Charentes

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

We were 2 couples + 1 child aged 7. Had a lovely weekend at Anna and Joy's house. We enjoyed the outdoors, the basketball hoop, the ping pong table and even the pool! It has everything you need in the house. We'll be back if we're in the area again.

What a lovely place, this house on the Vienne! Cozy house with nice artwork, good kitchen and fully equipped. The river is beautiful, pm zoomed with trees, very quaint. Nice cycling environment too.

Great communication from Noemie who was lovely, nice to hear about the history of the accommodation. It’s a cosy, good use of space and perfect for the one night stop over. The bed was super comfortable, making for a good nights sleep before travelling again.

We loved our stay in Saumur and the apartment was beautiful, had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Our host was lovely, going above and beyond, and provided great recommendations + some very thoughtful touches. The location was fantastic - walking distance to everything - great restaurants and lovely to be a part of the local town. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful two-night stay in this beautiful Airbnb with our 1.5 year old. Everything was absolutely perfect and as described in the listing. The place is quiet, peaceful and great to unwind. We particularly appreciated the delicate attention paid to our child, a touching gesture that made a big impression on us. Claude and Ginette are exceptionally gentle and kind hosts, you feel immediately welcomed. We will keep a great memory of this place and will not hesitate for a second to come back if the opportunity arises. Once again, thank you for everything!

We had a pleasant evening in the cabin nestled among the vineyards! The place is peaceful, we were able to recharge our batteries and start the year with peace of mind. Waking up to vineyard views was amazing! We highly recommend this experience.

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

A very big thank you to Maud and Yohann for these two days spent in the Nantes vineyard. We had a barl 4 people (2 adults, 1 child 5 years old and 1 2 year old). The weather in April was superb, so we enjoyed the exteriors (multiple terraces, barbecue, outdoor showers, garden, animals etc.); a real break! With a small heater, no problem for the freshness of the April nights. Maud and Yohann welcomed us very warmly! We needed calm, to recharge as a couple, to disconnect and the goal was achieved hands down. Beautiful accommodation in nature with all the necessities. Ideal for couples or children from 6 years old. The "loft" has some "risky" areas for a child learning to walk or under 5 years old. Remarkably comfortable bedding. I was apprehensive because there were no shutters or blackout curtains, and I'm sensitive to light when sleeping. Well, I managed to sleep until after 8 a.m. every day and didn't wake up because of the daylight. The calm, the beautiful colors, the songs of the birds. We experienced a moment out of time. Location is quite correct. 15 min to reach an Intermarché hypermarket, 20 min from the Proumayssac chasm, 40 min from Lascaux, Roque Gageac, Domme, Sarlat. A property that we will keep for our greatest pleasure.

The accommodation is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of animals to observe and approach, which made the kids happy. Many games are available, it's really a little paradise for families! The owners are adorable, available when needed but very discreet. The hot tub and pool, reserved just for us, were just great. We'll be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed staying here! The mobile home is bright and cosy and warm. We loved the big windows and terrasse. It was peaceful and private and communication was easy, Alexandra was kind and let us check in early. We hope to return and spend longer there :)

We had a lovely stay, the Fortinerie campsite is a nice place in nature. Tina and her husband were welcoming and friendly. The tent has all the amenities and is tastefully decorated. The Jacuzzi is a really great plus! We recommend for an atypical experience
