Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. Small private island located between Angoulême and Cognac, on the "La Flow vélo" bike path, in the immediate vicinity of the pretty Bain des Dames beach. It is situated in over 8 acres of fields with 3 fishing lakes where the donkeys and sheep roam free. The panoramic roof terrace will allow you to enjoy the idyllic setting. English really spoken.
