Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Playa del Carmen

Pros: Awesome location. 3 min walk to beach and just far enough from 5th Ave that it’s quiet at night. Great doormen. Bed is super soft (may be problematic if prefer harder beds) and bedroom is dark. Good WiFi but some sporadic issues. Pool up top is nice but small. Neutral: There is “some” noise from the closest bars on 5th Ave, but the bedroom is set back from street inside the building, so with ear plugs I never had any issues (and I’m a freak about sound at night). Cons: Gets lots of afternoon sun, so it cooks inside. Have to pay for electricity, but mine totaled less than 40 pesos/day after running AC for ~75 min/day. Hotter months could be brutal though. Not great for work at home as the chairs aren’t comfortable or ergonomic. Kitchen could use a full set of cooking knives and a wider variety of pots and pans.

This place is excellent. I highly recommend staying here as its within walking distance to everything (beach, supermarket, and unlimited restaurants, bars, shops 5th Avenue and all the hot spots). The apartment had everything needed and more. We didn't use the balcony or the pool due to construction and dust everywhere, but other than that, it was excellent. You couldn't hear the construction from the bedroom, so it didn't bother us much. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable to me, but my husband didn't mind it too much. You can't please everyone with the bed, so it's fine. The room is really dark, so you will get some really good sleep in there. The gym is small, but had everything needed for a great workout. There is a sports complex right nextdoor too. Overall, I highly recommend this place as it has everything you need and more. we would definitely stay here again!

El alojamiento es perfecto, tal cual se muestra en las fotos. La playa esta a 1 cuadra y la 5ta avenida a 2 cuadras, la ubicación es ideal. La alberca es maravillosa. Frank estuvo al pendiente de todo cuando lo necesitamos.

I was there for a week the host reach to me the same of checking in to make sure everything was fine the unit was excellent as described location if you are familiar whit La Quinta well you are one coner street away close to 38th north great restaurants on that Calle close access to beach public clean lots of space a excellent location and services 5 star rating from me and recommended.

Jorge siempre fue muy atento y flexible, el departamento es perfecto! Bien ubicado, amplio, bien iluminado, cocina bien equipada, gran cama y muy cómoda, la pasamos increíble y sin duda volvería a quedarme en el alojamiento de Jorge! Muchas gracias

My stay at Eduardo's place was awesome!! Very nice area. Rooftop is beautiful I was always up there with my laptop. And the heat is no joke so having an easy access pool to refresh with an incredible view was great. Eduardo is probably the best host I've ever had. Extremely kind, generous, and very helpful. Always happy to answer all of my questions & giving me advice. The place looks exactly like the photos. The terrace has the sun beaming down on you all day which I loved. I would 100% rent with Eduardo again. In fact I've already told him I will be back! 10/10 host & 10/10 rental. Muchas gracias Eduardo!! See you soon

*5/5 estrellas* Me alojé en este lugar con mis seres queridos y todo salió perfecto. La descripción y las fotos eran totalmente fieles a la realidad, así que sabíamos exactamente qué esperar. El apartamento estaba limpio y bien equipado, y la ubicación era ideal para explorar la ciudad.(en auto) Lo único que podría considerarse un inconveniente es que el apartamento está ubicado en el último piso, lo que significa que hay que subir muchas escaleras. Sin embargo, esto no fue un gran problema para nosotros y valió la pena por la calidad del alojamiento. En general, estoy muy satisfecho con nuestra estancia y definitivamente recomendaría este lugar a otros viajeros. El anfitrión fue amable y respondió rápidamente a nuestras preguntas. ¡Volvería a alojarme aquí sin dudar!

La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo pero en una zona tranquila. El anfitrión fue muy amable, atento y respondió rápidamente a todas nuestras preguntas. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que visite la zona, y me encantaría volver en el futuro. ¡Gracias por todo!

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

Located in the central heart of Playa Del Carmen about a 10 minute walking distance to many malls, stores, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Would definitely recommend booking if you are looking for a spacious and homey 2 Bed / 2 Bath in Playa for a great price if you don't mind not having a real gym. The only downside is the very small gym that had a few weights and 2-3 cardio machines nothing else.

Since day one, the host went above and beyond all my expectations. The place is way nicer in person, MUST VISIT!!! The location was perfect, and walk distance of all I wanted to do. cleand and very open space. Amenities are great and very nice place to relax, is very quiet. I need to come back!

Super beau logement avec un jacuzzi privé, le penthouse est comme les photos. La rue était en construction et nous n’avions pas accès au stationnement. L’hôte nous à remboursé le montant que nous avons payé pour stationner. Cela a été très apprécié même si c’était hors de son contrôle. L’hôte était très réactif et répondait rapidement. Je recommande vivement!!!

Zentrale Lage. Trotzdem ruhig. Apartment im 2. Stock. Hochwertige Ausstattung. Bequeme Betten. WLAN sehr gut. Pool im 6. Stock toll. Gab aber leider viele Mosquitos, da wäre Fliegennetz sehr hilfreich gewesen. Wohnung roch von Anfang an ein bisschen moddrig. Dieser Geruch ging auch kaum weg.

Nos recibieron con el apartamento súper limpio, organizado y con todos los amenities para tener una experiencia extremadamente cómoda. Las instrucciones de acceso fueron perfectas, el ambiente privado y tranquilo. Pudimos descansar y disfrutar de Playa del Carmen. Agradezco especialmente a Lupita, con quien mantuve comunicación directa, por su calidez, comunicación y resolución. Volveremos 😊

Great place! Wasn't sure what i was getting into when we first pulled up as we'd never been to PDC before. Turns out we were 5 easy blocks from the beach and 5th Avenue which is where all the action is for tourist food and festivities. The place is also surrounded by 'local' food and fare as well - El Fogon is 2 blocks away, Walmart is 2 blocks away, many local tiendas from right downstairs to blocks away. Very clean - A/C's were working - had an issue with a drawer (at 7am) and Allen had it fixed within an hour. The balcony got great AM sun - i spent most of my time while there on the balcony just because we came from the North and i desired heat. But ... this place is not for those seeking solitude and silence, though. It's very loud with street noise. The tour busses start coming by at 7am and don't stop until about 9pm. All day. Everyday. But if you stayed closer to 5th Avenue you'd have to deal with the club music so it's a toss up. We had a blast and loved all of it!

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here
