Beach house vacation rentals in Playa del Carmen

Paulina's accommodation is excellent for family travel, spacious and with everything you need for your stay, there are even board games to enjoy in the afternoons, the pool is very clean. My family and I really enjoyed it.

We had a delightful stay at this property. It’s conveniently located near a pharmacy, restaurants, and shopping. While not directly in the heart of town, it’s just a short drive to Fifth Avenue and the Mall of the Americas. The private pool was the highlight of our stay, and there’s a beautiful beach nearby. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials and some extras, ensuring we had a great breakfast and snacks before embarking on our city exploration and visits to the Xacaret parks. The area appears secure and peaceful, and the host was friendly and attentive, promptly addressing our questions and requests.

Highly recommended accommodation!! Oswaldo was very friendly and flexible with any request or inquiry, responding very quickly and with a very good disposition. The house is very nice, spacious and comfortable, it had everything you need and everything worked properly. Very good experience.

For those relying on a navigation system, finding the address was a bit challenging. Google Maps doesn’t handle local addresses perfectly, but asking for directions from locals proved very helpful—everyone was incredibly kind, and we eventually found the place. The house is two stories, which adds charm to the property, though it does require a bit of extra effort to carry suitcases upstairs. The space was nice and clean, well-secured, and the communication with Olivia was excellent, whether in English or Spanish. The only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough, as we were on a schedule and had to leave for Cozumel the next day. Olivia’s place truly feels like a 5-star hotel, and we hope to stay here again the next time we visit Playa del Carmen. Thanks to Olivia for being such a great Host!

Patricio was a wonderful host and very responsive. The area was perfect, as you are a minute's walk from the beach. The construction was not very disturbing; in the downstairs rooms, there is more noise. The surrounding area has tons of restaurants and shopping, and you are a ten-minute walk from town. The neighborhood felt safe, and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable week-long stay!

This was our 2nd time staying at this wonderful house. We really enjoy staying here, because it's peaceful, quiet, and it's located close to the beach and 5th Avenue. The house has plenty of space and is very comfortable. The pool is a slice of heaven. If you want to enjoy the sun, get in the pool in the morning. When it gets to be too much, you can easily escape the powerful sun by just slipping into the shade. We stayed here with my wife's family, including 2 young children. Everyone had a great time. One of the best parts of our trip was dealing with our host, Raul. He was absolutely incredible! If we had any issue whatsoever, he immediately took care of it faster than you can blink! He was super friendly, responsive, and very professional. I feel like I made a new friend. We look forward to coming back again soon!

We had a great stay at Casa Vista! Orane clearly communicated all of the needed details and even arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. The pool and hot tub were lovely and cleaned daily. It was great to have an outdoor grill. We went fishing and were able to grill up our fresh Mahi Mahi! The bug mister in the back yard is a nice touch, but I’d still pack your bug spray. The beach was beautiful, quiet and just a short walk away. The pool table, video games and karaoke machine were a huge hit with all ages. It was great to have something to entertain us when it was raining. The AC worked really well and the beds were comfortable. We had a couple of minor hiccups while we were there, but the property manager was extremely responsive and acted quickly to get them fixed. We left a few small suggestions (like it would be nice to have a toaster and the safes didn’t work), but overall it was a great time and we would definitely stay there again! Josh was a very good host. I felt at home in his villa and everything was taken care of in this house. Prime location. There is nothing else to say.

This was a great place for our large group. Bedrooms all separated and private. Great kitchen for making large meals together. Big family room to gather in. Owner was very responsive and addressed any issues quickly We would stay here again

The house is amazing, very spacious and with hammock included. It is away from the tourist area but it costs about 70 pesos to go by taxi. The good thing is that it is a quiet area and has emerald beach and another very close that are very nice. Very quick and friendly owners as we asked for some favors and they accepted us without a problem We for our part were careless with the cleaning in the house but they contacted me and it was resolved quickly Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the pool and AC system were cool - a great break from the Mexico sun! Each room has its own AC unit and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook including spices, oils and pots/pans. I will note that the bar is no longer stocked as pictured in the photos. Nice quiet community about 15min from the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen. Hector was extremely helpful throughout the process and every single one of his recommendations hit.

Located in a the gated community of Playacar very near Fifth avenue we were able to easily walk to restaurants, the cab stand, tour vendors and even grocery stores. The house was clean and had extra blankets and pillows. The pool was bigger than it looks in the photos , well maintained and about 5 feet deep throughout. There are trees around the pool so dropping leaves inevitably land in the pool, but the pool guy came every day or almost every day to maintain and skim the pool. We saw many different animals in the evenings from the front patio, the bats were especially entertaining when they dived the pool water for a drink. So here’s the bad. The house had a musty, concrete odor that we needed to open the windows during the day to vent out. It was mostly gone after 2 days. No big deal. The beds were not the most comfortable especially the two twin beds which felt very hard. All in all a very nice stay and a great location, we would stay here again if we come back to Playa Del Carman.

If I had to pick one feature about the place - that would be location: 5 minutes walking from the beach, in a quiet security-protected community [ don't forget your wrist band !! :) ], 15 minutes from the nearest restaurants on the 5th Avenue. Taxi was easy to catch at the Riu hotel (opposite side of the street, 5 minutes walk) - prices are listed upfront, drivers accept credit cards (10% extra charge is listed too). So, no surprises. The townhome is not brand new, but clean; equipment (washer/dryer/gas stove ...) work fine. We, family of 4 = 2 adults + 2 kids (13 & 15yo) used pool a lot around noon - nobody was there most of the time. HVAC cooled the bedrooms on the 2nd floor better when the fan was set to low or medium - not to hi (a bit counterintuitive, so thanks to host for help with that). Very good mattresses (usually it is an issue for us). 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas are available behind small doors under the stairs (1st floor). A bottle of wine was waiting for us - nice!

Very good stay, quiet and clean place. The only thing is that if you go without a vehicle, it's very far from the beaches.
