Vacation rentals with beach access in Playa del Carmen

I saw good reviews before deciding to stay at the accommodation and I can confirm that it's worth staying here. First of all, the room is quite comfortable, very tidy, everything is impeccable, in short I was delighted, everything matched the photos and description, it is more than worth the price I paid, and if you go up to the rooftop in the afternoons you can take good photos and see a nice sunset. The hosts were attentive to me every second I was there, answering any questions I had. I can definitely say that I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is perfect, very close to 5th Avenue, and I can safely say that this is my new favorite Airbnb in Playa del Carmen. I hope the hosts give me the opportunity to stay again, I highly recommend it.

Frank’s place is in a perfect location. It’s very clean and all the amenities worked wonderfully. The bed was comfortable. My only wish was that there was a TV in the bedroom, but there is a large one in the living room. Will definitely be staying here again!

Gem! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. But the true highlight? The swimming pool. The pool area felt like a private oasis — crystal clear water, comfortable lounge chairs, and just the right mix of sun and shade. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee by the water and our evenings watching the sunset poolside with a glass of wine. It was peaceful, serene, and incredibly rejuvenating. Our host was just as wonderful as the home — responsive, thoughtful, and full of helpful local recommendations that made our trip even better. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and truly escape, this is it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Don’t hesitate — book it!

Our stay at Rudolph’s apartment was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, Rudolph and his team were incredibly attentive—checking in to make sure everything was just right and offering great local tips that made our trip even better. The apartment was immaculate and stayed that way throughout our stay, thanks to how well-maintained everything is. The location was ideal—close enough to the heart of Playa del Carmen but tucked in a peaceful, charming neighborhood just a 10-minute walk from a gorgeous beach with a small cenote. We felt completely safe and loved the area’s authentic local vibe. Inside, the bed was super comfortable, and the terrace was a dream for stargazing at night. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable—great for both work and streaming. The building’s amenities were a huge plus: the gym, rooftop pool, patio, and coworking space were all fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the entire space was clean and well-equipped. We couldn’t have asked for

Nice apartment! A little dark, but enjoyed the rooftop pool with the beautiful view of the sea. Amazing location. It was quiet yet walkable to Quinta Avenida and all the restaurants on Calle 38. Apartment was spotless and spacious.

This Airbnb was in the most perfect area. Close to the beach, bars and restaurants, but super peaceful and relaxing. LOVED it!The hosts were super nice and understanding. Would book again! Also a perfect place to view the sunrise if you’re willing to wake up early for it!

I have fallen in love with 38th street in Playa del Carmen. This was my first time staying on the street and it was amazing. Surrounded by the jungle, ocean view from the roof top pool, steps from 5th Avenue, and the beach in a block. There was nothing not to love. I can't wait to go back.

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

The accommodation was like home, everything was very clean and the security was very good, everything was as described in the publication and the hosts were very attentive, I would return a thousand times to this beautiful place

Manuel and Mayezka were very responsive. The bed is comfortable and the shower quite nice for Mexico standards. Powerful AC keeps the bedroom quite cold and the rest of the house a moderate temperature. It is a 15 minute walk from the beach. I felt very safe, even as a single woman. Enjoyed the private courtyard a lot. Only downsides, the kitchen is not very well stocked and I ended up taking a taxi into town almost every day via the InDrive app. Oh! Do yourself a favor and visit Kaawa Coffee Roaster/ Shop just a few blocks away! Full ham & cheese croissant sandwich with lettuce and tomato for $3 USD. Also, many people say there are so many expats in Playa that one does not need to speak Spanish, which is not true in this part of town (Nicte-ha). I'm in another AirBnB now that is walkable to 5th Ave for the same price, but the quality is severely lacking in comparison. So, if you are looking for a high quality place and don't mind taking a Taxi, this is a great choice!

The space is super quiet, comfortable, you have your privacy and the best thing is the pool, I only went for a couple of days but everything was very good !!! The service at all times, was very attentive to everything.

Jeffrey and Mariel are the best host we ever had. Extremely responsive, full of suggestions. House is beautiful and recent, nice furniture same as photos. El Cielo is a quiet gated community 10 minutes drive from downtown PDC. Strongly recommended!

Would definitely come back!!! Fantastic host - kind, informative & wonderfully hospitality. We loved this beautiful place & options on site for private cenote, Mayan ruins, and short walk to the beach. Perfect in case we didn't get out to explore. I chose Playa del Carmen because it's half way between Cancun & Tulum yet fairly easy to get to the airport. We went to Edin cenote which was fun, refreshing & close by, in Tulum we enjoyed a completely different vibe, and ran out of time to snorkel in Akumal. The 3 seperate bedrooms are each spaced well for privacy. There was a very nice oven/stove to cook meals on which we did 50% of the time and we really enjoyed the variety of restaurants with great service nearby. Our favorite breakfast was at Lara & Luca. Unexpected: The Mall in walking distance, super friendly people, and how much we loved seeing wildlife by the pool: spider monkeys, caoti, and iguanas in the trees with turtles and agouti on land. Since day one, the host went above and beyond all my expectations. The place is way nicer in person, MUST VISIT!!! The location was perfect, and walk distance of all I wanted to do. cleand and very open space. Amenities are great and very nice place to relax, is very quiet. I need to come back!

Great accommodation with a private hot tub, the penthouse is like the photos. The street was under construction and we didn't have access to parking. The host refunded us the amount we paid to park. This was greatly appreciated even though it was out of his control. The host was very responsive and responded quickly. I highly recommend it!!!

View was beautiful from the condo, the pool was nice, the staff were friendly and hard-working, pool bathrooms were clean, pool bar staff was friendly.

I can most definitely say this was one of our All time favorite places to stay!! The home was in an amazing location…walking distance to everything we needed or wanted to do. Corrina had a list of dining places that were spectacular!! We love to walk and explore and these surrounding did not disappoint. The private pool was a huge blessing on days that we just want to lay out and relax!! Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful home!

Great place! Wasn't sure what i was getting into when we first pulled up as we'd never been to PDC before. Turns out we were 5 easy blocks from the beach and 5th Avenue which is where all the action is for tourist food and festivities. The place is also surrounded by 'local' food and fare as well - El Fogon is 2 blocks away, Walmart is 2 blocks away, many local tiendas from right downstairs to blocks away. Very clean - A/C's were working - had an issue with a drawer (at 7am) and Allen had it fixed within an hour. The balcony got great AM sun - i spent most of my time while there on the balcony just because we came from the North and i desired heat. But ... this place is not for those seeking solitude and silence, though. It's very loud with street noise. The tour busses start coming by at 7am and don't stop until about 9pm. All day. Everyday. But if you stayed closer to 5th Avenue you'd have to deal with the club music so it's a toss up. We had a blast and loved all of it!

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here
