Lagoon & Sunrise, "Manatí Room" at Villa Katalox

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What an amazing stay! The view from the balcony is mesmerizing and waking up here every morning was like dreaming. This is a true gem and I will keep my memories of the lagoon, the people and way of living close to my heart for a long time. Daniel is a great host and a kind, empathetic and warm person. He was super proactive during my stay, gave me recommendations and tried everything to make my stay comfortable. I also felt very safe in the house and the area. I am so grateful to have stayed here 🙏🏼

Room N4 near the lagoon + breakfast

NatalieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I enjoyed the stay very much, especially the beautiful sitting area, the delicious breakfast and helpful staff - who organized the highlight of my travels, a grande boat tour around the laguna! Only the windows and doors don't really keep out the sounds, so it was a bit noisy sometines, but all in all a very appreciated accomodation!

bungalow tropical- laguna-kayak

Luis GildardoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place is just as advertised, lots of privacy, just to enjoy, relax, 100% tranquility. We really felt right at home. The sunrises seem like they're taken from a fairy tale! There are kayaks and vests that you can use if you want, the pier is totally private, maybe you have to share with another guest, but you couldn't ask for more privacy!!! We will definitely return, and we will not think twice about staying again

Naya Jungle Room with Private Pool & Deck

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
PROS Perfect location! Unbelievably beautiful! Greeted by clean pets (many cats and a dog named Naya of course!) Very clean, even in hidden spots. Staff was courteous and so very helpful! Naya reached out to offer us 2 free mezcalitas too! Tasty! Personal supply of fresh drinking water provided at arrival. Dessert too! The smell around the room was amazing! Super comfy bed—slept great! Spacious and plenty of room for 2.5 people. Accurate photos! Lots of steps to restaurant and lagoon-but so worth it-and it's easy steps at least! Clean, deep plunge pool. Outdoor shower was perfectly private. Lagoon was rocky-but so warm and pretty!! Plenty of parking in late April/early May. Very private overall. Road to Naya was bumpy, but very short! CONS No cons at all! What an amazing space! WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY STAY AGAIN! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! 😀 My boyfriend proposed on the beautiful lagoon side. Breakfast, drinks, and the experience will always have a place in my heart!

Cabaña "Tzalam" by Blue Bayou

PaulineRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed 3 nights in Bacalar and we loved it. The hotel is on a human scale, extremely well located in one of the most beautiful places in the lagoon for swimming. The private pontoon is lovely. Kayaks and bikes are available free of charge. There's even a free breakfast in the morning. Guillermo at the reception is really very friendly, very available. We recommend the place 100%. Thank you for this trip

Xtakay Bacalar Inn

AdemirRating, 5 stars1 week ago
In general, the stay was excellent, the only details, two days we did not have hot water, we sent a message to Heriberto and in 10 minutes we had it and finally, the door and window windows do not give complete privacy, at night you can see from the outside to the inside, although they have curtains, the window one did not close completely... we had to go buy some to close it because you could see everything... other than that, I recommend the place, close to downtown and the lagoon.
