Guesthouse vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

Gail was friendly & responsive and available to answer my questions. I came into town for a Steelers game and Gail’s place is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I’m glad I walked because I got to see all the tailgating along the way! There’s a great coffeeshop two minutes away; and my Ubers came quickly. There’s also an Aviary nearby that I wish I had more time to visit. Gail’s neighborhood is safe and the people in Pittsburgh are super friendly! 💛

It was exactly as Steve described. Every bit of info Steve shared with us was accurate. My son (9) and I took a 2 day trip to catch as many fish as possible. This private deep pond provided fun fishing for my son and I. We caught sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and a big catfish…that we learned is about 12 years old. Within about 40 minutes there are multiple locations that offer stocked and native trout. We hiked along the stream and enjoyed the panoramic scenic views. It had everything we needed. In all honesty, my wife usually does the prep so when I arrived and realized I had not brought coffee or a pot to cook in, I was pleased to find those items and more. Clean and comfy. I’d give the Carriage House 10 stars if I could! Lori was so welcoming and friendly, great start to our stay. The photos pretty much tell the story, but the apartment is even more beautiful in person. Everything you could want or need and more is there; the kitchen was fully supplied, better than most I’ve seen. Comfy bed; plenty of places to hang out between the sofa and table, and outside as well. The decor was wonderful, colors and fabrics well chosen for the rustic elegance vibe. The artwork was really impressive, it was different from what’s in the photos so maybe the pieces are rotated in and out, but a wonderful modern counterpoint to a more traditional vernacular style of architecture. Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful and private setting, so wonderfully quiet, and the big floof dogs were a delight, so friendly! Will be sure to visit the alpacas next trip! One of our best travel experiences ever, so glad we discovered this gem.

Beautiful property to walk around take in the scenery and relax. The fenced animals on the property were a added bonus. The accommodations were neat and tidy. Juana was quick to respond to tell us were the extra towels are stored when we could not find them. This is our 2nd stay there and will return again for sure.

Amanda’s lovely apartment is well laid out and conveniently located. Check-in was easy and flexible and Amanda is an excellent communicator. Highly recommend if your travels bring you to Pittsburgh!

My husband and I stayed at this location for four nights. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The hosts supply everything you could need while staying there and everything was high-quality. We especially loved the Weber Outdoor Grill and made dinner on it every evening while sitting on the porch and enjoying the peaceful setting. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend staying here.

This place is everything and more. It’s truly just as described. We loved the peaceful quiet surrounding. It was perfectly placed to the heart of downtown LITIZ. Thankful to be able to experience this cottage and enjoy a place who I truly have come to love in Pennsylvania!!!

Anne and Mark's cottage is a very special place. We were impressed with the creative repurposing of an old building, it demonstrates a clever use of space and offers a relaxing and cosy interior design. The location has the best of both worlds, you feel like you are miles away from the madness of humanity but you can get to restaurants and shops in a few minutes. Close by is Giant, a fantastic supermarket for ingredients to cook your own meals or find anything you're missing. The cottage is very close to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and Mount Cuba gardens. Anne and Mark are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is a real treasure in the Brandywine Valley.

What a hidden gem! We stayed at Anna's on our Hershey trip and it was absolutely perfect! SO clean and exactly as described in the pictures. We felt safe and the outdoor fire pit was a wonderful touch! Anna and her family are so kind and we loved Miley! We will be back again! 10/10 stars!

We had a wonderful Christmas get away this year at this peaceful Airbnb. It'll be one to remember for years!

We loved our stay with the Stoltzfus family. The apartment is beautifully furnished and feels very new, and just what our family needed. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming, let our kids meet Sonny their horse and we even played tee ball with their grandkids. Felt right at home! Would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back!

This was a perfect little spot for our weekend getaway in Lancaster. Loved being able to bring our dog, and we were grateful for the very clear instructions and descriptions of animal handling situation on the premises. Backyard so handy for walking dog late at night. Their dog was very friendly, and by following their instructions our two puppies never even met. We didn’t have a single hiccup. The location is really nice and convenient to practically everything in Lancaster. Hosts were responsive and it still felt very private in our “Guest” section. Off the street parking also really useful, even though parking in Lancaster is a breeze compared to Philly. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
