This stay was exceptional. The place was beautiful inside and out and very clean. The host was very responsive.

Karen's "Lancaster Retreat" is a wonderful spot to stay in the Lancaster area. The apartment is pristine and had all the amenities listed along with a modern, large and well stocked kitchen. The outside deck is a terrific place for a morning coffee. I highly recommend Karen's accommodation for a visit to Lancaster. It is definitely a 5* AirBnb.

Andrew’s place has become a sort of “home away from home” for me. It’s really a quiet location that is just minutes away from great restaurants and downtown Pittsburgh. It has some of the best views of the city. Its well equipped and just a nice sanctuary.

Henry and Erika's place was so wonderful in every way. I cannot express enough how much I loved it there, from the inside of the cottage to the peaceful outside surroundings. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a princess. The shower was modern and super clean. Kitchen was perfect size and immaculate. I loved all the flowers surrounding the cottage and the goats in the barn next to the cottage. I had a busy day and coming back to rest and relax in their cottage was a luxury. One thing to note, their parking area can only accommodate two small cars, but parking on the grass next to the cottage solves the problem.

I had an amazing time, Pictures look exactly like listing in person, very affordable and convenient, host was very responsive and helpful. The only issue I was having was when I was washing the dishes in the front room I noticed the water was not getting hot, water was only cold. Other than that everything else was good.

Mike is a very kind and understanding host! I was very tired after traveling from CO with 2 dogs and Mike was very accommodating and helpful! We enjoyed our stay and we slept so much better than we would have at a hotel. My pups are very reactive when it comes to even the slightest noise at night and I was happy to find a box fan and AC unit that provided white noise so that everyone could rest.

Unique place, perfect for bike tourists. Close to the trail and many food/drink options. How many places offer the chance to bunk down in a pen museum, located in a historic house?

We had the perfect stay here; the place was peaceful and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for those mornings or evenings when you do not feel like going out. Behind the building and parking lot, there is a small park and a rail trail, where we enjoyed evening walks, especially at the ice cream parlor for a treat. The downtown was great with small shops, restaurants, and cafes. Our favorite was the Avocado Cafe, an easy walk from the stay. We loved our stay overall and are planning a more extended fall trip.

My gf and I love this location. I am a local and when she comes to visit we rent this place! Its so nicely decorated and I love the brick walls. The apartment also offers little extras like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are little containers with floss sticks, q tips and cotton pads. They also have complimentary coffee pods which is a blessing haha. The owners are so responsive and friendly I will book here every time my gf comes to visit! Thank you for a great stay in the heart of this adorable town!

Our stay was fantastic. So many positive things to say...private rooftop terrace, sleeping loft, double shower, sauna. The space was tied together with a common theme and color. Very customized feel to this hidden gem. Would recommend this host and space to anyone looking for a downtown location. Loved it!

Very nice apartment! We were staying in the area for a few days, and this was a convenient spot. Nice place to walk the dog at the paths by the river, just a block away!!

I loved staying here! Check in was a breeze, I was able to park in the loading zone out front and bring my things in before going around back to park. The place looks precisely like the photos; it was clean and beautiful and so cute. Host was very communicative, which made it feel like I was staying at a friend’s place ☺️ The neighborhood felt safe with so much in walking distance. I will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! It was super easy to find, with convenient parking and a great location—super short walk to some cute restaurants and brakeman's café is next door. I’m a stickler for cleanliness, and the apartment was spotless and felt incredibly fresh. The bed was really comfortable, and the back porch made the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee. We have friends in the area, so we’re thrilled to have found a place we’d love to return to—if Traci will have us back, of course!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Jessica’s Airbnb! The place had everything you could possibly need—from pots and silverware to shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The space was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Jessica checked in throughout the week to make sure we were doing well and didn’t need anything, which was greatly appreciated. Parking was super convenient—right next to the stairs. If you’re ever in Pennsylvania, I highly recommend staying here. Plus, it’s so close to the airport, making travel a breeze!

Erika’s place was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay, and would’ve stayed longer if we could have, perfect little place for a weekend get away.

We had a fantastic stay at Jennie & Jonathan's place. It's perfectly located, comfortable, and the included parking is a huge plus. The hosts were so kind and responsive. The Sweet Shoppe downstairs is an absolute must-visit. The coffee and chocolate were soul-enriching, and all the treats were incredibly tempting. Our favorite moments were spent sitting outside the shop, simply enjoying the unique culture and atmosphere of Lancaster. Highly recommend!

Diane's place was quiet, restful, beautiful, and comfortable. There are a lot of thoughtful details throughout. I had no trouble sleeping here, which is unusual for me when I travel. Diane also went out of her way to help me out with transportation a couple of times, which I appreciated because I didn't have a car for this trip. The regional train stop (SEPTA) is 5 minutes away, and you can get to Center City in about 20-25 minutes by train. The hot tub was a big bonus after a long day of workshops at Swarthmore. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend Diane's place to others staying in the Philadelphia area.

I STAY IN TOWN FREQUENTLY FOR WORK AND MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND WANTED TO MEET UP SINCE THEY TOO WERE IN TOWN. THEY NEEDED A DOG FRIENDLY PLACE AND I GOT THEM A NIGHT AT PATRICIAS FOR AN ANNIVERSARY PRESENT. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT SEE THE PROPERTY THEY WERE VERY HAPPY AND MENTIONED HOW GREAT THE PLACE WAS. CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT FOR THEIR NEEDS. I WILL PROBABLY TRY TO STAY HERE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Overall, our stay was good even tho it rained all weekend. Bed was comfortable & the place had everything we needed. Hot tub & pool table were a nice bonus. We had a relaxing, peaceful weekend & will definitely keep this place in mind for future (hopefully not rainy) weekend getaways as it is close to Cooks Forest. The host had done some research for us ahead of time & had a list of places we might like to go to while we were there which was greatly appreciated. If you enjoy antique stores, definitely check out the emporium/candy store. We also ate at clarion brewery (which had a vegan falafel sandwich that was right up my alley). On our way home (to Ohio) we went to “farmhouse antiques & rusty stuff” in Knox….this place was full of treasures waiting to find a new home & was definitely worth the stop!

Very comfortable and great location. It was an easy walk to train station and lots of great restaurants nearby. Host was very friendly and helpful. Washer and drier and nice and big too!
