Cottage vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

We loved this house and location. It was perfect for our family getaway to Amish country it was over an hour away but the drive through the countryside was beautiful. After one day of just hanging out and barbecuing we fished at the lake and caught plenty of fish. Could not be happier with this stay!

We had a great stay at Cayla’s Cottage. The Cottage was very clean, and it’s clear the hot tub is well taken care of. We enjoyed the grill and fondue set and found the chalk board and binder to be quite helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and accessories. The location of the cottage makes a trip to Marsh Creek State Park super accessible. Have fun day at the park and unwind in the hot tub afterwards! We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location, very peaceful, and very responsive owners! I highly recommend this location! Very easy access to Gettysburg and surrounding attractions. This unit exceeded expectations.

We can’t say enough about Hilee’s beautiful home, her excellent communication and how well she went out of her way to make us feel at home. She let us know as soon as the house was cleaned and available, easy instructions, and we walked right into the coziest setting- with fresh muffins to welcome us, lights on and music playing. Exactly as described but even better! Super comfortable beds, incredibly clean and great amenities! Thank you so much for letting us stay! Great location with so much to do. It was rainy when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful yard but such a lovely find! We’ll be back when we’re in the area!

Bob & Julie's they were excellent hosts! The house and property are beautiful! This place is one we would return to without hesitation. It was very clean and included everything needed in the kitchen at home cooking. Hot tub was awesome with amazing view on the lake. The wood burning fire pit was one of our favorites about the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Ohiopyle! Obviously the backyard and hot tub were the highlight of the home, and we took full advantage. We had a super chilly Memorial Day weekend, so it made good for hot tub weather. The cottage had close neighbors, but it still seemed private. The rooms were clean and the cottage was very cozy! We would definitely stay again.

This was our third stay in a year and we all had a great time again. We saw lots of animals and enjoyed watching the eagle catch his breakfast every morning. The house has everything you could possibly need and Jane, as always, was an incredible host.

Great place to stay for change of scenery and relaxation. Friendly responsive host. Place was very clean and exactly as described. Lots of hiking trails near by. Will be coming back again.

This was my second time staying here and loved it just as much as the first! It's adorable, homey, and clean. My kids love the loft space and I love the outdoor seating and patio. You can walk to the Lake Sheridan Bar and Grill in just a few minutes. We definitely hope to stay again next year!

This quaint little cottage on the banks of the Delaware Canal is a true gem—peaceful, charming, and steps away from the heart of Yardley. It was far more comfortable than any nearby hotel, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the only thing to wake me in the morning was the soft sound of birds outside. The rainfall showerhead was an unexpected bonus! Just a short stroll away are local favorites like Pretty Bird coffee, Cramers Bakery, and a variety of great dining options. You can also grab snacks or a hoagie from Wawa and enjoy it by the canal in the cottage’s private yard. Cindy, the host, was proactive, timely, and communicative. I felt fully reassured that if anything came up, it would be handled quickly. (though everything was perfect, so nothing did!). I truly can’t recommend this place enough, it's the perfect home base for any visit. I'll be back for sure.

This was our third time staying at the Blue Belle. We enjoy our time there so much, the cottage is cozy and we love that it’s pet friendly. The screened in porch is our favorite with the relaxing sounds of the river. Jessica is a great host and got back to us quickly when we had any questions. We can’t wait to go back!

Jeanie is the ideal host! Communication was easy and her responses were quick. The cottage is comfy, quaint, clean and quiet. There were coffee beans ready to grind for a much needed cup of joe and fresh vegan cookies in the fridge. Traveling with family from LA, the cottage was the balm they needed. The yard, and the farm fields that stretched out in front and beside us were beautifully green, with the sounds of songbirds, frogs, and rain on the rooftop one night. We could all pause and breathe in the peace around us. We felt at home and welcomed and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We had a great time exploring Cook Forest and Allegheny National Forest and this was the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the solitude and opportunity to disconnect. Ryan and Laura’s guest book provided lots of local recommendations which we found helpful. I definitely recommend staying here! My only complaint was that the bed was very firm which we found uncomfortable and difficult to sleep in. I recognize that this is totally a personal preference so only mentioning in case others have similar sleeping needs. Otherwise everything was great!

My husband, our two boys and I including our family Pomeranian mix loved our stay at the River House. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus, friendly neighbors! I will miss walking along the river and enjoying the scenery. Would definitely stay again!

Sean was very helpful and accommodating for our situation, always willing to offer suggestions and resolve any questions we had in a very timely manner. We’re bummed we didn’t actually get to stay, but are hoping to be able to book again for future trips to the area!

We enjoyed our time at John's place and were very comfortable. John was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating! We were able to cook meals and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and relaxing by the lake -- thank you John!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy river cabin on the Allegheny River. The space has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen and the front deck—perfect spots for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The beds were super comfortable, and the overall simplicity of the cabin added to its charm. The fire pit right beside the river was a highlight, especially during sunset. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

This is our first experience with renting through Airbnb and it has been positive. The listing was exactly what we wanted since area hotels did not offer suites with separate living spaces. My husband usually gets up earlier than I do, so having a little house all to ourselves was perfect. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the location was close to local attractions. If we return to the area, we would definitely stay at the cottage again. It wasn't the Ritz but then again MY home is not on that par either! The owners have done a great job in modernizing the cottage and the little extras were appreciated-- things like charging cords for electronics and just about anything else needed for a few days or longer stay. Any questions I had were answered promptly and I felt confident that, if I had needed anything, it would have been addressed.

The cottage is perfect. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The sauna overlooking the lake was amazing. The easy access to the kayaks was great and paddling on the lake was so peaceful. Five stars for a PERFECT weekend at a perfect cottage.

This place is 100% worth the stay. The area is gorgeous and if you are a bird watcher this place is for you. We saw bufflehead ducks, bald eagles, mallards, ruffed grouse, song birds, Canadian geese, swans, osprey, wood peckers, pileated wood peckers, and wood ducks. The space was homey, comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean, the beds were soft and comfortable. I didnt have cell phone service (AT&T) but my husband did (Verizon). The wifi was extremely fast and we didn’t have any issues working or streaming anything. Honestly can’t say enough wonderful things. Our hosts were fantastic to work and we would recommend this Air BnB to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Little House on Mary street! You can tell the house design was very purposeful and thoughtful, and done with quality. Some houses you stay at feel like the host did the minimum needed to make the house usable, this was not that. We will certainly be recommending this to family and friends!

Family had a wonderful stay at the farm. Plan to return again to feed the animals, enjoy the serene farmhouse and welcoming hosts.
