Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

Our new “spot” in Lancaster! We’ve been to the area several times, and Sara and Dan’s location tops them all. Very comfortable (living space, beds, linens/towels), extremely clean, beautiful views - the perfect little getaway. Our kids especially loved the goat (and bunny), and would play hide and seek with him around the shed. The stocked breakfast items and snacks were a very nice touch. Quality local products that we appreciated. Will be back soon!

I had a truly wonderful time here and cannot say enough good things about it. The house is utterly charming and was so cozy, especially on these cold, snowy days. I came home to a warm, home cooked meal every day and they made me feel like a member of the family. They truly made my visit to Port Allegany a special one, and I feel so greatful to meet these wonderful people.

My new husband and I had the opportunity to celebrate our marriage here, and I cannot say enough about it. The atmosphere provided a relaxing stay and beautiful photos to remember. Paula and Duane are wonderful hosts- this home is immaculate and completely furnished for any type of traveler.

Dennis was a fantastic host! Suite was exactly as expected. The entire house was phenomenal and meticulously decorated. Easy walk to so many attractions and a quick ride share to many others. Thank you Dennis, hope to see you again in the future!

Carlisle House is in a great location to allow you to experience Carlisle. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Kathy and Chloe were delightful. They even accommodated some of our special dietary needs! The room was spacious and clean and comfortable! ‘

This was an absolutely outstanding stay. The home was immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The second floor, where the bedrooms and bathroom is, is completely secluded from Stephani’s personal living area, and we were very comfortable there. We also really enjoyed talking to her; she was very friendly and gave us great suggestions on our travels.

This was a perfect stay for us! Keith was a generous and responsive host who immediately made us feel right at home. The space was super clean and location convenient for our evening event. Keith greeted us in person and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and friendly conversation in the morning. Easy parking, clear and detailed messages, and the kindness of Keith contributed to a wonderful memory. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The two rooms were perfect for my two teenagers and me. They loved the bunk beds and I loved the exquisitely carved headboard in my room. Their deck was a glorious outdoor living space, the house was very clean and decor was really pretty and international. We enjoyed meeting Andy and Sherry and look forward to another visit in the fall hopefully. They were so kind and we loved their home and peaceful back yard!

I stayed for a week at Flint Hill Farm and enjoyed every bit of my visit. Kathy was so warm and welcoming. My room was cozy, the kitchen was accommodating, homemade breads, yoghurt, cheese and coffee. The animals were beautiful, all the farm staff were friendly and nice. Tom and Stephanie are warm, kind and gracious hosts. The rooms are clean, warm and beautifully decorated, very homey. Breakfast, Stephanie prepared each morning, were delicious. The hot shower was really nice with abundant hot water, even though the rooms are on the third floor. Parking is easy to find on the street. We really enjoy our stay and will go back when we visit again.

We were a larger group and stayed at this lovely place. Place has character and made us feel special. Hosts were fabulous and anticipated anything we may need.

Allegheny Street BnB was the perfect selection for our introduction to the Altoona/Hollidaysburg area. Our stay there epitomizes the reasons we prefer bnb experiences when traveling. We especially appreciate opportunities to interact with the hosts and other guests. The hospitality here is genuine and unparalleled. One highlight was an unexpected invitation to a family celebration. Even the free transportation to and from the Amtrak station, provided by Richard, afforded opportunities for enlightening conversation. Jyoti's ability to multi-task while remaining ever gracious and personable is rare. Together, they make a team other hosts could emulate.

We LOVED Kelsey's place. The space for elegantly decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything was above standard. Kelsey communicated in a timely manner and was beyond accommodating. We felt right at home. Thank you!

Sarah and Neil were wonderful hosts! They were very accommodating in terms of check in and were friendly people to chat with. The room that I stayed was gorgeous and all the immediate amenities that I needed (mini fridge and bathroom) were all in that same room. I highly recommend a stay at their home for a quick weekend get away if you are passing by the area!

My stay was brief but very enjoyable. This was a getaway just for me. Dylan was very helpful and proactive with communication and made sure I knew where everything was and how to get in and out on my own. My room was perfect. Beautifully decorated, a TV and fridge were handy in the room. Very nice place and would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here after a weekend visit to Philadelphia to unwind. It was a great change of pace after a city trip. We didn’t take time to explore the local amenities as we were really only there to wind down, however, on our way out of the area we found there would be plenty to go back for. Overall, the place was exactly what we were hoping for and we would definitely come back.

The Inn rooms are clean and spacious with well-appointed bathrooms. The grounds are pretty and relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay for Bethel Woods concerts, as it's roughly 20 minutes away. We missed the fire pit because we were at a concert but would love to join next time. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We give this 5 stars across the board!

This property is truly outstanding and one of our very best experiences while driving coast to coast. Brad and Gabe were fabulous hosts from start to finish. We stayed in the Lincoln suite which was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and full of fascinating memorabilia as indeed was the whole guest house. Great breakfast, excellent location and what can we say about Kane that hasn’t already been said!! Thanks again, we hope to come back some time but will be sure to tell all our friends and family about a very special stay in Gettysburg.

Trinity was very kind and welcoming, even though I flew in at a late time. The place is beautiful and I love the decor. I highly recommend it.
