All I can say is WOW! We were blown away at the beauty of the home AND the view! Relaxing and peaceful. The pool was to die for and Kathleen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had in all our air bnb travel!!! Will definitely return AND will check out her other properties in the future. We had the most relaxing stay at this wonderful property! It truly had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a highlight, complete with shampoo and conditioner for both humans and pets—such a thoughtful touch! The place was stocked with firewood and a starter kit, which made our evenings by the fire so cozy. Our family loved kayaking and fishing nearby, and the tables were perfect for some fun card games. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including seasonings, and there were even pet bowls for our furry friends. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, well-equipped getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, all-inclusive retreat!

Ryan’s home was lovely. Perfect for our family. Ryan thought of every detail to make our stay seamless and relaxing. His home was clean and well kept, but the personal touches made it even more lovely. We will definitely be back.

We stay in about 3-4 Owner rented properties a year for the last 14 years and I can honestly say that this home is one of the most beautiful I have stayed in. It had been impeccily renovated and updated. It is beautifully decorated. It feels so clean, spacious and warm. The house is well maintained and appointed. Kelli is extremely responsive. I highly recommend.

I think the Northern Neck as a winter destination is severely under rated! Cozy cozy cozy! I love the knotty pine room that looks out over Prentice Creek and across as the the conserved Ditchley Ciderworks' woods. There's another bald eagle!

The place looks just like in the photo. The house is pristine clean and well decorated. Its surrounding is also beautiful and peaceful. We had fun with catching crabs and kayaking around from the dock in the backyard. The owner is very responsive and gave good instructions. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Will definitely keep the house in mind in our next visit.

My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

We loved the place. It was very clean, spacious, relaxing, kid friendly, and has all the necessary amenities. Rebecca is a great host, being very proactive and friendly. It was easy to get to the sites in the Virginia Historic Triangle. We hope to be back someday.

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

Had an amazing beachfront experience! I was taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony. Our host was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival.

it was super remote and quiet, just the way we like it. fresh eggs from the hen house was a plus.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.
