My absolute favorite airbnb ever ! This was the 3rd time I've stayed here, and if I could afford it, I'd go monthly. The location is perfect, right on the water, small private beach, lots of privacy and soooo incredibly relaxing. The house is very well laid out, super clean and comfortable. Keri provides more than most hosts, from the kitchen and bathrooms, to beach gear, movies, books, games, and the kayaks ! I love love love this house and location so very much. It feels like "my" home away from home and I'll continue to go back as much as possible. THANK YOU again Keri, for another amazing getaway !

We love the house 🏠 clean decoration beach team. We loved the fire pits for roasting s’mores the kids love the corn hold game. Lots of trees private. The views from the deck on the lake was calming. Definitely would stay again. Host was very good responsive and friendly.

The stay was great. Really liked the place. We were there in the area playing at a moose pool tournament. My wife really liked how it was laid out inside. It had everything you needed. It was quiet and peaceful and we will be staying there again. Thanks again for a great experience.

Ryan’s home was lovely. Perfect for our family. Ryan thought of every detail to make our stay seamless and relaxing. His home was clean and well kept, but the personal touches made it even more lovely. We will definitely be back.

We had the most relaxing stay at this wonderful property! It truly had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a highlight, complete with shampoo and conditioner for both humans and pets—such a thoughtful touch! The place was stocked with firewood and a starter kit, which made our evenings by the fire so cozy. Our family loved kayaking and fishing nearby, and the tables were perfect for some fun card games. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including seasonings, and there were even pet bowls for our furry friends. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, well-equipped getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, all-inclusive retreat!

Dawn’s place is the nicest Airbnb we have ever found! I never experienced a house where there are so many extras to make your visit special! Dawn and her husband have gone above and beyond to create this peaceful dog-friendly oasis. The game room was a blast, the dock and patios were comfortable with chairs, cushions, lounges and a fire pit. Dawn even supplied graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate to make Smores! The beds were super comfortable and there were tons of towels for people and pets. We also enjoyed the deep bathtub, bubble bath and shower. It was go great not to have to bring shampoo, body wash and all this much need toiletries that fill your suitcase. My family had a relaxing fun week there and will definitely be back. I wish we could give a ten star rating because that’s what this place deserves! Thanks Dawn 😇

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

We absolutely loved Phillip’s incredibly charming and cozy cottage! The interior is gorgeous and the exterior waterfront view will take your breath away! We spent a lot of time fishing on the dock and loved eating our bountiful catch! Lots to explore nearby in the quaint small towns of the Northern Neck! Phillip was very quick to respond to my many questions and always offered local recommendations which we really appreciated! We did a quick run to Walmart to get firewood for the outdoor pit, bait and $9 camping chairs. The chairs made our dock fishing more comfortable than the built-in dock bench. My advice is run, don’t walk, to secure a reservation at this stunning waterfront oasis! We can’t wait to return! K Helms, Clifton, VA

Lindsay and Randy are wonderful hosts and The Pearly Oyster felt like home. We booked our first girls trip (4/18-4/20) and truly had the best experience. The group loved kayaking, meeting the sweet pups next door, and making s’mores over the fire pit. We felt the home was inviting, comfortable, and really appreciated all the special touches. Our stay at Hedgerow over Christmas week was absolutely wonderful! Everything about the property was so thoughtfully planned and executed. Comfort & Amenities: The beds were incredibly comfortable with ample blankets, ensuring we were cozy and warm throughout our stay. I especially appreciated the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom. Ease of Use: Clear and concise instructions were readily available for all appliances, lights, and other features of the home, making our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. Homey & Welcoming: The overall atmosphere of Hedgerow was incredibly homey and welcoming. It truly felt like a place where we could relax and enjoy our time with family. This was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Thank you for creating such a special place!

The host was very responsible and helpful! The house was very clean, great amenities and very relaxing.

The home sits on a nice point of land at the end of a quiet road. It is a nice mix of early 20th century charm and modern with spacious living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. The living room and large deck allow unobstructed views of the water. The home is well-kept, clean, and includes everything you need for a pleasant getaway. And, it is a short (10 min.) drive to the shops and restaurants in Kilmarnock. A relaxing, recommended stay.

We booked this beautiful beachfront home for my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless, and the breathtaking water view greeted us upon entry. The house was spotless and peaceful, with only the soothing sound of waves. We enjoyed most meals in the sunroom overlooking the water and took advantage of the outdoor seating as the weather warmed. Fawn, a great coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, was just five minutes away. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook fresh seafood from Little River Seafood. Mornings were magical with stunning sunrises, and the nearby beach access was perfect for walks, yoga, and birdwatching. A highlight was Hughlett Point, a hidden nature preserve 30-40 minutes away, leading to a secluded beach with only 11 parking spots. Thank you for sharing your home—it made for a peaceful and unforgettable celebration!

My group of 10 had a wonderful stay at the Rivah House! We could have fit several more people quite comfortably - we felt we had plenty of space in both common areas and rooms. Lots of fun, bright decor livens up the space and makes it feel homey. The house was clean, linens were nice, and beds were very comfy. We appreciated that there were different room configurations that could fit a variety of group types. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed, with plenty of dishes, utensils, and some pleasant surprises like a Crock-Pot! Our group had a great time cooking and eating together around the big table. Our stay was early March but if the weather had been warmer, we definitely would have spent more time sitting out by the dock watching the birds on the water, playing with all the outdoor toys (kayaks, etc.), and enjoying the spacious fire pit. Francesca was an excellent host, giving us clear check-in/out instructions, local advice, and responding promptly.

Sunrise to Sunset was a wonderful escape for our family and children. Our daughter loved catching crabs on the dock in the crab pots provided by the house. We enjoyed paddle boards and canoe on the river. The property has a great yard, larger than most I've seen in the area. The home has three outdoor seating areas, each with a different experience, we enjoyed utilizing both firepits with different views of the river. RAJ was extrememly communicative and accomodating. I would recommend StS to friends and would book this home again.

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

Just a stunning location! The bird watching was marvelous, every morning a pair of swans landed and swam around until dusk. Lots of blue herons, too. Good fishing right out of the back yard. The kitchen was very well appointed, good cookware, plates, cups, etc. bed were comfortable with really nice pillows. We spent most of our time around the fire pit or on the screened porch. A great place for relaxing!

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

The weather blessed us with warmth upon arrival to Pizza Friday. Although making pizza was a new skill we gained in the moment, the fun we had while doing it was everything we wanted. We had a chance to use the fire pit, kayaks and games in the house. The kids enjoyed sleeping in tents on the ground and the Easter egg hunt scattered along the lovely property. The host was super responsive and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. I think I may have messaged him a few times about AC and fire wood and there was no hesitation on getting back to me. The family loved this Airbnb and we have already planned an additional trip in the future.

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.

Second time staying at Camp Cottontail. Katie and Ryan are amazing hosts that are extremely accommodating and responsive to any issues or concerns. We were able to enjoy amenities such as the fire pit, grill, and kayaks during our stay. Surroundings were so peaceful and saw lots of wildlife in and out of the water. Our pup enjoyed the stay as well! Highly recommend a visit to Camp Cottontail! You will not be disappointed!
