Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northumberland County

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Kristie’s place was great; felt very clean and comfortable. We loved that she provided a basket of local info and menus. We also enjoyed the waterfront view and using the provided kayaks in the cove. The patio furniture was very comfy, clean, and relaxing. Loved seeing the deer visit us most days. Kristie’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end with clear and easy instructions. Highly recommend!

The location is easy to get to and very well maintained. Everything seems brand new and the house is well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The house is surrounded by lots of amazing trees and feels like you’re staying in an amazing tree house. There are plenty of kayaks, fishing poles and water activities to keep everyone happy. The dock is amazing and hours were spent fishing, crabbing, and playing cards and enjoying time with family. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying here. Had a great weekend at Ryan's place. Ryan sent a pretty comprehensive guide once we booked with instructions that were clear how to get into the property, what was available, and how to use all the amenities which was very helpful. This was one of the most well-stocked airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous and we loved spending every minute outside. Highly recommend and would re-book again.

Thank you Jim and Megan for making this beautiful home available for our vacation. I was impressed with the cleanliness and because I'm a fishermen I loved the bait house by the water. It literally had everything you needed to fish or do some crabbing. We really needed nothing other than our cloths to wear and books to read. I did bring my own kayak but I really didn't need to everything was provided. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness in things like the coffee bars in the kitchen and upstairs as well with also providing k-cups, flavoring etc. and extra tp:) This location was what we needed to rest and recharge. Once again, thank you.

What an amazing place! The photos did not do it justice. We had beautiful weather and the back patio/deck was the perfect hangout. We went kayaking, caught a lot of crabs, and enjoyed being by the water. We had the firepit going while one of us was grilling food and the vibes were perfect. The detached game room saw plenty of heated pool games with a great selection of music and sound system. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Dawn provided very detailed instructions so that you know all that you need to do. All-in-all, great spot that is a perfect group getaway!

The house was beautiful, clean and plenty of space for our family of five. The view is amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again soon.

We love the Haven on the Bay! This was our third year staying here, and we can't rave enough about how perfect a space it is for us. The waterfront view is incredibly peaceful, the sunrise is gorgeous, and the physical space invites great quality time for the group. Ashley was a very gracious host, and was very quick to respond anytime we reached out with a question. We even had the joy of seeing dolphins while we were roasting s'mores around the fire pit!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

I spent 2+ months at Jocelyn’s and got quite comfortable! It’s definitely a ways away from things, but that was fine for me during that time. Communication was great. Jocelyn and family were nearby but never intrusive. I probably won’t be staying near Gloucester any time soon, but if I did I would definitely check Jocelyn’s availability first.

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Sitting on the dock and watching the sunset became a favorite past time. Mary was so kind to allow us to use her patio to have my son over for food and games. It was a truly lovely stay. More amenities than any place I'd been to before. My only note was that the curtains in the primary bedroom are just sheer cloth, so the sun comes in at 5 am to wake you up, but that can be remedied with a mask, and changing in the bathroom was fine for me. The view is mostly wooded, so I wasn't concerned much about people seeing in, but I wasn't comfortable changing at night with the light on. The other thing to note is that the bedroom door does not lock from the outside, and there is access to the downstairs apartment from the house upstairs. It did not bother me, I took my purse when I left and didn't have anything to lock up anyway. Honestly this is a 5 star place to stay, and the little things are just that.

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we needed, and was accurately described. It is a fairly new place, and was extremely clean. There was no sulfer smell in the water, unlike the other Airbnb's we've stayed at in this area. The house and landscaping was beautiful and the decor was so tastefully well done. Bernadette was great, always friendly, and quick to respond. We hope to be able to return for another stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area, nice comfortable space. The gravel road leading in (maybe a half-mile long) and driveway gave us a good area for morning and evening dog walks. We did not end up doing any fishing but the pond looked like a great place for kayak fishing. Not specific to the house but in the area: Rita's Cafe in Weems was great (food truck on a small road)--Chef Craige usually has a special and some regular menu items. Leadbellys (at Fairport Marina) had good oysters and hush puppies and was convenient for our first night. River Market in White Stone has good food to be ordered at the rear counter and prepared items in the coolers. Out of the Oven Bakery (White Stone) had great bread Miss Mary's seafood, also in White Stone had great fresh fish and prepared items. The three places in White Stone are very close to each other so convenient when running out.

I am running a program out of this home all year long and we have 4 retreats at the property which I'll write a review for each time we stay. We got to experience the season of winter in January complete with a beautiful snowfall the last day of our trip. This time, we got to experience the spring...the season of rebirth. I am grateful for everything the home and land provided to us during this last experience. The home feels like our home while we are there and it has everything we need. Thank you so much!

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

My husband and I enjoy staying at Cheryl’s place. We have been here in the winter and summer. It is a cute little house and the area is nice and peaceful. It is dog friendly and our boys love walking up and down the quiet road. Cheryl is a great host and always responsive. We will stay there again.

Pizza Friday was an amazing find! We spent a family reunion on the porch making pizza's in the oven. We obtained crusts from an Italian restaurant in California on our way and it proved to the perfect choice for us. We also enjoyed the dock and even caught a few crabs to show the kids. In addition we sat around the fire pit in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean inside although we spent most of our time outside on the porch.

The cabin was perfect for our little family, super comfortable and cute little space, with beautiful surroundings. Check in was a breeze and they even had the heat turned on before our arrival (it was a really cold day) and the porch lights were left on for us, we felt very welcomed. We would definitely book this place again next time we visit st marys county. Thank you Daniel!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were super nice and very accommodating - truly thoughtful and welcoming. The home had everything we needed and was stocked with snacks and bottled water, which was such a nice touch. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing!

This Airbnb truly felt like staying in someone's home. There were lots of items provided in the house -- from toys in the cabinets, to records to listen to and the kitchen was very well stocked with pans, plates and seasonings. Outside we loved using the crab pots (though we came up empty and didnt catch any crabs) and lighting a fire at the fire pit at night.
