Kid-friendly vacation rentals in North Holland

We hebben het enorm naar ons zin gehad in het huisje in Schoorl! Het is precies groot genoeg voor twee personen en echt alles is aanwezig. Het buitenplaatsje vonden wij ook heel fijn, ‘s avonds is er precies zon onder de overkapping zodat we daar fijn konden eten.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und einladend gestaltet. Durch die vorhandenen Rituals Produkte hat das Haus zudem sehr gut geduftet. Zu der direkten Umgebung kann ich nur gutes berichten. Es ist schön ruhig und idyllisch gelegen trotzdem kommt man innerhalb von gut 20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Zandvoort oder Amsterdam. Ruud hat uns hierzu wirklich sehr hilfreiche Tipps mitgegeben. Zudem wurden wir vom Parkplatz aus persönlich von ihm zur Unterkunft begleitet, was einen sofort positiv ankommen lässt. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. :)

Erg fijn, mooi en ruim verblijf. Lekker ruime woonkamer, heerlijke bedden in de slaapkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! Pine en haar man waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huisje ligt op een kwartiertje rijden vanaf Bergen centrum en een klein half uurtje van het mooie strand. Leuk om even te bezoeken! Verder kan je heerlijk relaxen bij het huisje.

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

Très beau implacement, la maison et l’extérieur sont très agréable pour visiter la région et passer du temps en famille. L’air de jeu à côté est très pratique si vous avez des enfants. Dans la maison il y a tout le nécessaire. Merci!

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

Sehr schöner Außenbereich mit einen traumhaften Ausblick. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Saskia und Tijmen so liebe und herzliche Gastgeber. Die Wohnung liegt schön ruhig und der kleine Garten ist traumhaft. Es ist ein richtig schöner Rückzugsort zu zweit, wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, sogar Fahrräder konnten wir kostenlos leihen. Mit den Fahrrädern ging es auch auf Tour entlang des Haarlemer Meer, nach Haarlem und bis zur Küste (alles machbar). Die Gegend ist sehr schön, die Stadt Haarlem sehr sehenswert und entlang des Haarlemer Meeres gibt es viel zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für eine tolle Zeit.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Ausstattung, eingezäuntem Außenbereich und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Die Kommunikation war super ☺️👍🏼

vanaf het begin een goede communicatie met Reinie. Gastenverblijf nog mooier dan de foto's laten zien. Heel hartelijk ontvangen en bij aankomst stond er een verrassende lekkernij klaar. Ik heb een paar fijne dagen gehad en gelijk geboekt voor volgend jaar.

Maaike und Marko waren super freundlich! Wir könnten spontan früher einchecken, die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Eine schön eingerichtete und gemütliche Wohnung mitten im Zentrum von Alkmaar, in einem Hinterhof wo die Katze einen jeden Morgen begrüßt. Es wurde an alles gedacht und Vincent und Grace sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Unterkunft empfehlen!

Waren super mit der Unterkunft zufrieden, Sonja und Jur sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Es waren angenehme vier Tage. Nochmals danke für alles.

We had a great time staying at Yvonne's studio. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and was in an ideal location for the station and walking into the town centre. The surrounding areas very quiet and the supermarket is very close by too. Yvonne was friendly and welcoming and gave us good advice about where to go and what to do. She is a great host and we enjoyed staying there and would happily to so again.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Gostamos muito do alojamento pela sua localização relativamente aos pontos turísticos do país. Os anfitriões sempre muito simpáticos e super rápidos a responder ás mensagens. Apesar do quarto ser dentro da casa deles nunca sentimos falta de privacidade e tínhamos tudo o que precisávamos dentro do quarto :)
