Fantastic location and very thoughtful host. Clean, modern, wonderfully quiet but still within walking distance of supermarket and nice restaurants and not unimportant... a lot of privacy... The fireplace and private garden made it completely complete. Highly recommend!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

We spontaneously booked with Beke for 4 days and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. She welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very lovingly decorated and has everything we wanted. A nice place to relax. The area around the house is also very nice and it is even possible to get to the beach within about 70 minutes through the nature reserve. We could also easily reach the beach by car and park for free in the nearby area. The proximity to Alkmaar, a beautiful cozy town, is also very pleasant. There are lots of nice restaurants and small shops. We enjoyed our time at Beke and will be happy to come back. Thanks again for the loving hospitality. Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

We had a wonderful week in Liz and Alex's apartment. If you love peace and nature, this is the place to be. The apartment is ideal for two people. In addition, you can use sun loungers and benches in the garden. By bike, you can easily reach all the places on the island. In the neighboring village of Osterend there is also a supermarket. You can take a nice walk right by the sea from the apartment, the dike can be reached in 5 minutes. Liz and Alex are very attentive and lovely hosts. The apartment is fully and very functionally furnished. For value for money, we only give 4 stars. Actually, it's a bit too expensive for April. But that's the way it is on the island.

The location is absolutely great for exploring the coastline. The beach is walking distance and the park that the chalet is situated on is very peaceful and clean. The host is also very helpful and responded to questions quickly. Overall, a great stay.

Mariette's home was a perfect getaway for the two of us and our dog. The house is thoughtfully prepared with everything guests might need - the kitchen had all the essentials. It was a real pleasure to enjoy views of different wooded areas from every window. The location is fantastic: the beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Muiderberg is about 1 hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam Centraal. It's the perfect balance of peace, nature, and city access! Thanks to Mariette's hospitality and the calm atmosphere of the house, we had a truly memorable holiday. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

We spent a week before Easter at Thildy's and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is comfortably furnished and there is everything you need for a vacation. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Communication with Thildy was very good.

It is a very cosy and familiar apartment. Peaceful and super close to Amsterdam and Den Hague. You feel fast at home. The breakfast was super, so we could enjoy our trip. I really recommend Mark as a host.

Our stay at Lisette's is always amazing 👏 We spent a great time together with the cutie of Jet. Lisette's place and Limmen are greats places to have a peaceful and quiet escape and easy to goto other big cities. we totally recommend it! and of course, we would love to comeback soon 💖

We had a wonderful few days at Jody and Huib's beautiful place. The chalet is fantastically located – both the sea and the IJsselmeer can be reached quickly, and some places worth seeing in the area can also be easily accessed. The accommodation was sparkling clean and superbly equipped – there was really everything you need for a comfortable stay. There were useful utensils in the kitchen, and even in the bathroom everything was thought of – perfect in case you forgot something. The rooms are very tasteful and decorated with a lot of love for detail – you feel welcome from the first moment. The private garden access was ideal for our dog who could move freely there. However, the absolute highlight was the direct water access with private area – simply fantastic. We will be happy to come back and can highly recommend the accommodation as well as the hosts Jody and Huib:)

Wonderfully comfortable chalet! Good beds, easy to heat, nice sofa and table, attractively decorated.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

The cabin is simply a dream in the countryside! So lovingly made and you can relax so well and unwind. Just as beautiful as in the photos, so definitely recommended! It is wonderfully quiet, but you can also be in the nearest town within a few minutes. The apartment is clean and cozy and you have what you need. I'm sure we'll be back! Judith and Juul are so nice and helpful, that's not a given! :)

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

Lovely area & accommodation. The bikes were extremely helpful & easy to get out. The hosts were very kind & offered us help with places to go around Amsterdam etc. Cannot recommend this AirBnB more!

We were in Rose's amazing cottage for our first wedding anniversary for a few days. Rose had made a rose and a card very thoughtful for us, which immediately made for a nice welcome! We had wonderful days by the fireplace, enjoyed the area with our dogs and the sunrise from the dike is fantastic!

We had a wonderful week at the Duinstudio. Particularly noteworthy is the equipment, everything is available, from kitchen accessories to the equipment in the bathroom with plenty of towels, bath mat, etc. A warm welcome from Annelies, who was always there to help. We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden after a bike ride or a hike. Here, too, everything is well prepared, nice seating areas, charcoal for the grill, wood for the garden fireplace. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!
