Welcome to our home. This beautiful farm in the typical Dutch countryside was built in the beginning of the last century. We bought & created this lovely place and split it into two houses and the barn next to it as a tiny conference place. The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. The house is surrounded by a 800m2 garden, included the space under the haystack.

The old drive-through barn has been converted into an independent residence with its own entrance. The upstairs double room has a very large bath with a view over the river. This is a real gem in the little village of Groet. The bus stop is right across from the house, which was extremely convenient with hourly bus service to Alkmaar. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a hot breakfast, and there was a coffee maker that had an integrated bean grinder which was appreciated (we bought beans). The house was a couple of minutes on foot from a bike rental place (open 7 days a week) and we enjoyed a beautiful day cycling around the dunes. We loved the rural feel of the place, there was farmland all around the villlage and traditional thatched houses. Having cycled through some of the other nearby villages, Groet had the nicest vibe, not too touristy or pretentious. The sleeping set up was as described, two single beds in a seperate room accessed through the main bedroom. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a bit challenging getting down the ladder inthe dark, so a headlamp is recommended. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

We stayed 3 days in this cozy apartment, located in a very peaceful neighborhood. Patrick and Anouk were present upon our arrival and handed us the keys, did a tour for the apartment and also gave us recommendations and answered our questions about the city. Thank you for making us feel at home. It’s a beautiful place to stay for couples, easy to access the city center. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We would recommend to anyone visiting Netherlands :)

We had a bad booking for our holiday and booked late night last minute for the next day with nathalie. She accepted very quick and was very happy to accommodate last minute! She was very friendly and the property will leave you speechless! Lovely area for a bike ride and the cats and dogs around the place are a pleasure to have around! The two of us had a very nice time in the apartment of Natascha and Richard. The very friendly reception with a nice welcome, the quiet and beautiful surroundings with vastness, grassland and animals, the sea and the dunes nearby, small nice places easy to reach by car... all this contributed to the fact that we enjoyed the time very much. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was quick to warm up when it got cooler. It is well equipped and nicely decorated. The large bedroom has only one window, through which little light comes in due to the roof overhang. But as a bedroom, it was great. We felt very comfortable overall.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay near Amsterdam and other areas we wanted to explore by car (Edam, Volendam, the beaches of the West, Keukenorf). Brenda's accommodation was very nice, as described, comfortable and well maintained. It is located in the village of Ijpendam with terraced houses and close to a bus stop (5-minute walk) to get to Amsterdam Central Station. The round trip by bus cost us between 7.5 and 9.5 euros per person. The rental boats were not available but we hope to have another opportunity to do this experience! Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

We love this place. A very cozily furnished caravan that has found good space despite the size of four. You can see that the place has been renovated and furnished with a lot of love. There is everything you need, so you only have to provide your own food and towels. On the small property you will also find a cozy outdoor seating area and a well-equipped shed with e.g. toys for the beach. The campsite is very quiet and beautiful. The location is fantastic, you can be on the beach in a few minutes and shopping can also be reached in a few minutes by car. The host is very friendly and has always informed us well, always responded quickly and really went out of his way to give us a nice stay. We will definitely come back!

Lillian and Julian's house was a perfect quiet base for exploring Texel. The contact about the booking and arrival was nice and relaxed. The accommodation is much more spacious than shown in the photos: two spacious bedrooms and a large utility room with ping pong table and infrared sauna. Everything is available to land and restaurants, a supermarket and (daily opened) bakery are close by. We had a lovely Easter weekend. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. The place was close enough to Amsterdam but still in the countryside, which we enjoyed. It was peaceful place in a great location. We drove in the morning to the Metro station (There was plenty of free parking), and in 1/2 hour we were downtown Amsterdam. Happy with my choice. The place was spacious for 2, well equipped, warm, and welcoming.

We (2 adults, 1 dog) had a great stay at Denice's vacation home. We felt comfortable immediately. The place is beautifully and lovingly furnished and upon our arrival there was even a bag with things for our dog ready. The location is also perfect. Right next to the property is a park and also restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. You can also make various excursions and also a visit / a hike to Schoorl, Bergen or Alkmaar is definitely worth it. Denice is a great and discreet hostess who is quickly available for questions, making our stay very pleasant. We can definitely recommend the place and would come back any time.
