Het is gelegen aan doorgaand vaarwater met mooi uitzicht en privacy. De tuin is volledige omheind Papenveer is een knus, huisje voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Peace, space, and privacy. Surrounded by nature reserves, 2 kilometers away from the IJsselmeer and the beach. In the 3,300 m² (35,500 sq. ft.) back garden of our farmhouse, there are two freestanding tiny houses with a large private garden and their own entrance. Layout: Living room, kitchen equipped with combi oven, induction hob, refrigerator, and Dolce Gusto machine, bedroom with double box spring, bathroom with underfloor heating and rain shower, wood-burning stove, and sleeping loft.

B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Our cozy B&B is centrally located in the head of North Holland. Because of this location we are very easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The cottage is completely private in a very large garden with its own sunny terrace. Make use of all facilities offered including digital TV & internet. The lodge is located approximately 10 km from the beach and you can also make many nice trips. Visit Enkhuizen, the cheese market in Alkmaar or take the train to Amsterdam.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

The cottage is very cozy and complete and has a lovely terrace in the greenery, while you are only 200 meters from the center of Alkmaar and 10 minutes walk to the station. The cottage has a private entrance for maximum privacy and 1 free parking space. All comforts such as WiFi, TV, Stereo, AC, Combi oven, Washing/Drying machine, Kitchen equipment are provided. On the terrace there are chairs, a table and a BBQ.

Reachable by bus in just half an hour. Quietly enjoy the waterfront, also an option.

Feel welcome! Behind our house is De Schuur, a romantic, cozy and unique guest house, equipped with every comfort so that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the Jacuzzi and sauna on the veranda. There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.
