This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Het huisje Zilt is lekker licht en fris door de twee ramen beneden en openslaande deuren. Het huisje wordt verlicht door dimbare spotjes. De verschillende en natuurlijke materialen geven het huisje een gezellige strandsfeer en een echt vakantiegevoel. Boven is de slaapkamer heel gezellig door het steigerhouten plafond. Achter het bed is een klein raam met uitzicht op de tuin en landerijen. Dit geeft meteen bij het wakker worden al een vakantiegevoel!

You can enjoy the tranquility and space of the Brabant countryside here, a short distance from Den Bosch. The house is located behind our own house but provides complete privacy and has a view over the small meadow with chickens. Ontspan en kom tot rust in deze vredige, stijlvolle ruimte. Villa-Vida is ontworpen en gebouwd in 2020. In het ontwerp is rekening gehouden met een echte bosbeleving. Door je te begeven in de luxe zitarena, zittend in een grote lederen bank kun je genieten van het mooie bos, de verschillende boskleuren en ontzettend veel verschillende vogelgeluiden. In de schemer spot je regelmatig reetjes, hertjes, konijntjes en soms een vos.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
