Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in North Holland

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

I was with my friends at Samir's Airbnb for 4 days. Samir is a very nice and helpful host. The Airbnb was clean and just like in the photos. For questions about Amsterdam, such as activities, Samir was a very good help for us. I can only recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

Charming stay, clean bathroom and kitchen. Very close to public transport stops. Had a great stay!

We had four great days at the place (three of us). The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a lively area and yet somewhat secluded, as it is above the harbor basin. The views from the roof terrace are super beautiful in the morning, as well as in the evening. Spacious apartment with space. The kitchen block is missing a few things (cutting board, sieve) and there is no real oven, just a large multifunctional device with grill function and microwave. The excursion destinations are super diverse and there is something for everyone (sporting activities on the water and outside), trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht, bike tours, museums... Catherine or the colleagues from the port office are always available during the day for questions. Note: The accommodation is only accessible via an external spiral staircase. There were two of us. Was super quiet and you could do your thing. There were no problems and we had a great time. I highly recommend it for smokers (420 friendly)

Mo is a wonderful person. Extremely polite and willing to help with any problem or question you may have. Very helpful, I recommend staying with him to everyone. The apartment is in a great location, about 10-15 mins walk from the central station, Nieuwmarkt, Rembrandtplein etc. The apartment itself is funky and has lots of art and souvenirs from their travels around the world which makes it interesting and feel like home. There is a great view across the canal and two balconies. The facilities are just as described with everything you need for a few days or more. We were welcomed by the owner’s son who was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for your time in Amsterdam. Thanks for a great stay!

An absolutely perfect location from which to enjoy the city! It's a short tram ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go in town, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and lovely canal views. In the summer, being on the top floor may make the inside a bit too warm, but the windows open wide and the rooftop outdoor patio is large, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for relaxation, eating, and conversation if the weather is nice. In other words, the true Amsterdam canal-house stair climb is well worth the effort. Overall a very comfortable studio flat, good wifi connection, and a responsive and respectful host. We had an absolutely wonderful three-day stay in Amsterdam! Tanju was incredibly welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. He took the time to recommend many places to visit, from must-see tourist spots to lesser-known local gems. Thanks to his advice, we were really able to fully enjoy our stay and discover unique aspects of the city. This place was BY FAR worth every penny and more. Has every single thing you need in a home from spare towels,bedding,candles,liquor, gaming all the way to a fully stocked fridge,and what felt like an unlimited supple of snacks. Host is also an absolute icon honestly treated us like family from the second we booked. Really polite,caring, flexible and thoughtful too. Perfect communication perfect distance in between city and airport with the tran right outside. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great spot to stay in for what we needed! Staying for a couple of nights before heading off fishing about 90 mins away. Easy to access Amsterdam, 3 stops on the train and 5 min walk to station. Chi’s place was great. Boss games room and loads of space to chill and relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

This house is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. It truly feels like visiting a close Dutch friend. The neighborhood is stunning—like a fairytale. The streets and houses are full of greenery and charm, a true delight to the eyes. The house is filled with family warmth and clever little touches. It was spotless and perfectly prepared for a comfortable stay. We were truly amazed by the welcome. When we walked in, we found a generous selection of delicious food. Fresh flowers were beautifully arranged around the house. Peter was incredibly friendly, we really appreciate his effort! He was always available, and we’re grateful for such a warm welcome. The garden deserves its own praise—it’s like a scene from a postcard. Sitting there with a cup of tea and enjoying the fresh air was pure joy. The location is excellent. Beautiful, scenic coastline is just a short drive away. Staying in this home was like stepping into a cozy, magical world. We truly hope to return someday! 🫶

First of all the host is incredibly welcoming and proactive. He is very communicative and responsive to all your needs. Also he is very flexible with the check in and check out times. In addition, it is an amazing home that is near all the facilities you need to make your vacation a perfect one. Wonderful restaurants are in walking distance as is the supermarket and public transportation is easy accessible. The house was spotless and even better than pictured in listing. The host left us a wonderful welcome present to make us feel at home. In addition the house was stocked with all the necessities. In summary the house is filled with top-notch amenities, has an amazing location and an incredible host to give you and your family an unforgettable vacation. We cannot reccomend this place enough, Tanja was super helpful, answered all our questions and was always ready to help with any queries that we had. The house looked better than the photos and had everything that we needed. Tanja was there to greet us and show us round the house, we really appreciated it alot. The pool was the highlight of our trip and the kids loved jumping in each morning, the kittens where adorable and we enjoyed feeding and playing with them. Everything else was thought of from extra towels, games for kids, clean comfortable beds and even the hammocks outside to relax in. we loved every moment of being there and would HIGHLY reccomend anyone to stay there. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable. The area is super peaceful with cows and horses around and just a short drive to neighbouring town there are many activities for the kids. Tanja left a full albumn of activities for us to do in the area which was so helpful. 5+ Star host.

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!

Our stay was perfect. The house is comfortable, clean, well located. The dunes, tulips and Leiden in a few pedal strokes. A calm barely disturbed by the flight path of planes from Schiphol in the background. A children's playground just behind the house is really a plus. Max was very considerate, full of good advice. We highly recommend this host.
