Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Welcome to our new vacation home, beautifully located in Schoorl! This cottage is built for peace and privacy. Enjoy the nice spaces with the abundance of light. From the living room, you can walk into the spacious garden, exclusively for you. In the complete, stylish kitchen, you can cook to your heart's content. The bathroom is also a nice experience, with plenty of space and atmosphere. From our cottage, you can cycle to the forest, dunes or beach. But Bergen and Alkmaar are also nearby.

The cozy living room is wonderfully bright, and through the glass facade, equipped with sun blinds, over the full width of the living room, you can enjoy the entire day both indoors and outdoors. With the double garden doors, you can optimally connect the living room with the terrace. In addition to a large dining table/bar, there is a spacious sitting area with a flat-screen TV. The luxurious open kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances such as a dishwasher, oven and refrigerator.

Our concept is simple, powerful and full of energy – especially for those who are open to (re)discovering the balance in life.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!
