Our apartment in the village of Schwarz (Calbe/Saale) is part of an old four-sided courtyard in family ownership. Schwarz is just a stone's throw from the Saale Cycle Path and a few kilometers from the Elbe Cycle Path. If you close the courtyard gate, you leave everyday life behind in the courtyard under grapevines. Or you can start from here to the highlights of the region: Dessau, Quedlinburg, Harz, Magdeburg – but maybe just the next lake. Perfect for cyclists, families or to write your book in peace.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the middle of the countryside. Enjoy mild summer evenings on the terrace or cool autumn and winter evenings in front of the fireplace. Wake up to birdsong in the trees and explore the nearby rural surroundings or the Elbe Cycle Route on foot or by bike. Stroll through the parks of the former state horticultural show in the small town of Burg, just 4 km away, and linger at an open-air concert on the picturesque vineyard.

The house is located on the Saale island of Gottesgnaden. Here the lock keeper lived and worked with his family. Today you can relax here on the 7x4 m terrace, make yourself comfortable in the great kitchen with fireplace, enjoy the river landscape, fishing, standup paddling or chill in the approx. 1000 sqm garden. The house is a single monument and belongs to the lock. The lock is in operation and is maintained and serviced by the Water and Shipping Authority.

Small chalet in Fläming

Our cozy chalet is located in Vorfläming in the Theeßen district of the city of Möckern/Fläming right next to our house. Here families (3 adults, 2 children) can spend a comfortable vacation. Central and excellent for hiking/biking in Fläming and the adjacent lake landscapes. The cities of Magdeburg, Brandenburg an der Havel, Tangermünde/Stendal are all at the same distance. Berlin is 100 km (A2) away. A pool and sauna are also available in summer.

The apartment is very comfortably furnished. It is possible to accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Children's room with bed and wardrobe. Take the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and entertainment. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (in the attic), an elevator is not provided. Books, cards and board games are available. Guests are welcome to use the garden and grill. We can also provide bicycles for rent to explore the Aller-Elbe cycle path. Two quarries invite you to fish and swim in the directly adjacent landscape park.

Experience tranquility on a historic farm in the small village of Lübs directly on the most beautiful bike path in Germany. After a loving renovation, small apartments have been created from the stable and barn. Special handmade wooden furniture shows my closeness to nature and love for the forest.
