Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Germany

It was a lovely stay at Stephan's place. A quiet environment and just idyllic. The dogs were also very enthusiastic. We will be happy to come back!

Had a lovely two night stay at Barbara's place! The wooden house is very spacious and super cosy, also thanks to the two lovely cats and the fire place. We used the sauna in the garden and loved it. Barbara is a very friendly host. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful little house in a very quiet location. In the house you will find everything needed for a vacation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, lying everywhere and just the right little things. A great garden for the children, beautiful hikes possible, with a stopover in rustic restaurants. We have been there in spring and winter so far. We hope to try autumn and summer. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice and quiet stay with six adults and a dog at the property. The wooden house is really very nice, new and well equipped. We particularly liked the open kitchen and the living room, as well as the small private garden. The surrounding area is a residential area with no great opportunities for activities. This was more than suitable for us, as we wanted to spend time together. Smaller walks are possible, the public transport connection to Hanover is ok. The shopping directly across the street probably still closed until the end of 2025, so it makes sense to use a car for shopping in the next town. The house is quite audible due to its construction, which is no problem if all guests have a similar sleeping rhythm;) Overall, we had a great stay and everything met our expectations!

We had wonderful days in Berlin thanks to the beautiful apartment and the extremely convenient location for us. Since we traveled by car, we appreciated the parking space in the underground garage very much. Communication with Bernd was warm and personal - like with a good friend. For us (family with 2 teenagers), the apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. The sunsets from the terrace are magnificent. Bakery, shops and restaurants are very close.

The owner is kind and helpful, response to all our questions when we were there and the place is spacious and clean.

Very straightforward check-in. Super equipped apartment where you can switch off well. Communication with the hostess was flawless. Glad to come back :)

The apartment is really very nicely located on the equestrian farm. Especially the bathroom is fun with the 2in1 shower/toilet. The view of the horses in the morning and also the quiet nature all around, as well as the short distance to the bastion make this accommodation really recommended.

Beautiful setting, well situated, away from any tourist traps or traffic (great opportunity to practice any German you may have :)!) It was perfect for our family. Host was very responsible and respectful.

We were warmly welcomed by Michael and Doreen. They responded immediately to any questions and made our stay very pleasant. We found the contact with them cozy and uncomplicated. The house was very clean and fully met our expectations after seeing the photos. We didn't lack anything. Due to the peace and the good beds, we slept well. Keep in mind, however, that the first small shops are 6 kilometers away, the supermarket about 10 kilometers. For us that was no problem, it contributes to the overall relaxation, because you can do that in Michael and Doreen's cottage. We definitely haven't been here for the last time. Our stay at Virginie and Marco was an absolute delight! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were always available for questions we had. The apartment itself is beautifully designed. We especially loved the spacious living room. The location was ideal, just steps from the underground and surrounded by a vibrant array of fantastic restaurants. We can't recommend Virginie's and Marco's place highly enough!

We had a very nice weekend at Thomas's house. It was exactly as he had described on Airbnb's site. It was a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. The house was very cozily furnished, also nice with a fireplace in it. It has a nice sauna and swimming pool. The bedrooms had wonderful beds. Everything was very neat and well taken care of. The communication with Thomas was very pleasant. You could always reach him if you had any questions. Very nice. Thank you Thomas for a pleasant stay in Schwalmtal. We had a wonderful weekend with the family!

Were there with 5 children and 4 adults. We felt very comfortable. Due to bad weather, we could only use the wonderful pool and beautiful garden to a limited extent, but we still didn't miss anything. The kids loved the lots of toys in the house, trampoline, slide and swing. Degi was accessible throughout and extremely helpful. Nice excursions nearby. We highly recommend the place.

This was such a beautiful location to stay. We got blessed with great weather and enjoyed sunbathing and BBQs in the large open space at the rear of the property. There were nearby stores (Lidl, Aldi) available which was great for self catering. The space was clean and cosy for our stay. With plenty of utensils and facilities for our guests. The check in and check out process was stress free, and the owners were quick to reply to any enquiry’s made. Thank you so much for hosting.

I had the great pleasure of visiting TheMAP during Easter week, and it was an unforgettable experience! Particularly noteworthy are the fantastic fire tent and the cozy barbecue evening in the garden, which provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The organization was excellent. Highly recommended for larger families with children.

Our stay over the Easter holidays in the house was great. We were 8 adults and 3 children who had a lot of space to play and romp. The adjacent forest also offers good opportunity for walks. There was everything we needed and also the equipment of the kitchen was great. I would be happy to come back.

Beautiful accommodation, ideal for 8 people in the main house, up to 4 could stay in "real" beds in the other premises. We spent a lot of time in the large living and dining area upstairs, and we also enjoyed the wood-burning stove sauna very much. Definitely recommend as a group:)

Great hostess, house is even more beautiful than in the photos, is in the middle of the countryside, everything is perfectly equipped, there is nothing missing, super fast communication with Andrea, you feel right at home & is perfect for large groups! We would come back any time!
