Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

Tree house adventure

Who hasn't dreamed of a night in a tree house as a child? We want to share this experience with you! Approximately 4 meters above the ground, surrounded by green leaves, you can only feel comfortable. A day in the tree house (without the luxury of everyday life) slows you down incredibly. You shouldn't expect luxury, but rather an adventure and the challenge of getting by with little. With stick bread by the campfire and an evening view from the tree house into the starry sky, you can escape everyday life.

Baumhaus "LAZY LODGE", 97944 Boxberg

In the Waldseilgarten Boxberg, you will find the 35 m² tree house “Lazy Lodge,” owned by the youth and cultural association Lazy Bones e.V. Staying together in the sleeping camp becomes an unforgettable experience with a fantastic view of the changeover valley. Pure nature! This includes sanitary facilities and a barbecue area with a permanently installed electric grill (usable in any weather) as well as a fire pit. PLEASE NOTE: Beds/mattresses/sleeping mats & duvets are NOT available and must be brought.

The tree house charmingly offers comfort and adventure on 34 m² for a maximum of 4 people – perfect for families, couples and nature lovers. With 4 sleeping places, this cozy refuge invites you to dream and relax. The sleeping places are accessible via climbing routes and thus ensure a special sense of adventure - however, for the upper bed, a body height of 160 cm should not be significantly exceeded!!! Experience closeness to nature and comfort in our tree house.

Entenstrich - Baumhaushotel Uckermark

Our tree house 'Entenstrich' was built in 2017 and is cozily rustically furnished. It can accommodate 2 people, has a great veranda and a breathtaking view over the meadows and gates of Gut Gollin. An organic dry toilet is located at the foot of the tree house. Full shower & washing facilities are located in a private bathroom in the hostel house about 400 m away. ​ No pets are allowed in the treehouse hotel. Minimum age for children: 5 years

Treehouse on stilts with two bedrooms, modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room with fireplace. Balcony and stilted terrace overlooking Trifels Castle. The stilt houses are located about 300 m from the Jugendstilhotel Trifels and are accessible on foot via a tarred hiking trail. You can borrow a handcart from us for your luggage. We will be waiting for you at the reception desk of the Jugendstilhotel Trifels for check-in.
