Vacation rentals with breakfast in Locarno District

Barbara was very accommodating and the house was cozy. I especially enjoyed access to the balcony. I must also mention the view from the hills are astonishing. Very recommended.

Small and nice. Had everything you need. Were there with 2 children aged 4 and 7. The surroundings are great. Waterfalls, small chapel, gold mine, everything is nearby. Ideal for short hikes or walks. The small garden was perfect for playing or relaxing. The fireplace was the highlight for our son in the evening. The apartment is simply and easily furnished. Dominic and his father are kind, respectful and considerate. We exchanged ideas on where to hike and what to wear even though we are busy. I’m thankful to have the time to stay in the Aeblis’ house. It has everything you need: dishwasher, washer, hot shower and numerous heaters, for the WC to the bedroom. For me I sleep cool, so the heater in the toilet is enough for warmth on most days; sometimes I use my headlights just because I want to “set the mood”. The bed, pillow and blankets are very comfortable. The living room is always toasty due to the floor heating. Windows are modern and you can’t hear the highway noise when shut. If you have lived in a modern hutte like Kesch, then that's what you can expect + stable internet from router. It is also much less “touristy” or crowded on the way there than Valais, i very much appreciate that. Hope to have the chance to swing by again and accomplish routine hikes!

Fantastic stay right in the middle of charming Morcote! Paolo and Yoko were very generous and hospitable hosts and encapsulates what is great about AirBnB. The living space was clean and tastefully decorated. Paolo and Yoko kindly allowed me to use their kitchen too, and their breakfast offerings were good. My sincere thanks for one of the finest weekend getaways in Switzerland!

A beautiful house, very stylishly furnished with a lot of love for detail…in the kitchen there was everything, unfortunately we did not find any egg cups…the breakfast is plentiful and very sumptuous Conclusion: We felt very comfortable and will come back

This stay was beyond any expectation. The architecture of the house is stunning, modern yet warm and welcoming. The location offers peace and great views immersed in green, just 15min away from the city of Lugano with the car or bus. But the even better aspect of out stay was the incredible kindness of the hosts who made us feel home rightaway, offered delicious breakfasts, extensive explanation and tips about the city and surroundings... and even a Tai Chi lesson! It is a great place to come home to in the evening to unwind after a long active day. Thank you Barbara and Mauro, you were FANTASTIC!! We hope to see you again soon

A great place if I have the opportunity to come again for longer!

We enjoyed the hospitality and the great ambience with Erica and Wolfgang very much. If you are looking for peace, exciting conversations and good food, La Crisalide is the right place. Meride is a beautiful village and ideal starting point for hiking and excursions around Lake Lugano. We can highly recommend La Crisalide with their hosts.

Simona is a great host, she received us warmly. She's also a generous woman who filled the fridge with good things. We had everything we needed for a very good aperitif dinner as well as a very good breakfast. It touched us a lot especially as we were tired after a long trip. the apartment is better than in the photos, it is impeccably clean, very well equipped, with nice dishes and everything you need to cook. The appliances are of very good quality, as well as the furniture and bedding. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in this beautiful apartment, we rested well before returning to the north. We will surely return to discover this beautiful area, recharge our batteries and take beautiful hikes. Thank you so much Simona.

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. Pablo is a kind host in a very speacial place

The room is 30 seconds from the funiculaire that takes to the main Train Station. It's very close to the main points of Lugano! The breakfast is included and very good and you also get access to Ticino Public Transportation without having to pay any extra money - however the city tourism tax is chaged during the check-in. The room is not very big, but it has everything that is necessary and it's exactly like the description.

Corinna and Bernd are such lovely and friendly hosts! We felt immediately at home in their incredibly beautiful bed & breakfast and had an amazing time (despite two days of very heavy rain). We took their suggestions for hiking trails/local restaurants and fortunately still caught the right time to explore and enjoy the surroundings. It is also not far from Locarno by car, which we visited on one of the rainy days. However, what we enjoyed the most was the peaceful location and Corinna and Bernd's warm reception. We would certainly recommend it to friends & family.

Elisabetta is a wonderful host and cook. We were a birthday party of eight and felt right at home in that beautiful place of hers. All rooms were exceptionally beautiful and tastefully furnished, we were stunned. We truly had an amazing time and thank Elisabetta for having us. We highly recommend making the way to her beautiful home and just enjoy the beauty and quiet. Thank you again!

We were really pampered by Simona in the absence of her mother, she picked us up at the bus, was courteous and friendly, invited us to an aperitif and gave us a lot of valuable information. The house has been very tastefully renovated, the bedrooms are spacious. We highly recommend this place!
