Hotel vacation rentals in Locarno District

First time in summer in Switzerland and we were not upset! Fabian's hotel is in perfect location, close to lifts to breathtaking views of the Altech Glacier. Hiking, Paragliding, Cycling, you name it. Perfect for families with small kids. Service is very friendly and fast, restaurant has got different menus; can have lunch in late afternoon, no restrictions. Sauna anared swimming pool at your service. We had a very good time and wish we could come again and do more fascinating stuff. Highly recommended. Приезжайте, не пожалеете!

The small apartment is very well appointed. What we enjoyed the most was the common area (the pool and the large garden). The little ones had a lot of fun! A bus stop is almost in the immediate vicinity of the place. The restaurant offers good service and the waiter Diana is very friendly. Highly recommended for excursions with children! Don't forget the mosquito repellent 😉

We really enjoyed our stay. The house offered more than enough space for our group of 20 people (10 children, 10 adults and one dog) and everything we needed was provided. The surrounding area is stunning and we were able to go on several hikes right from the doorstep. One particularly beautiful walk leads from the house down to the Isorno River and all the way to Intragna, which takes about two hours (with kids). In Intragna, there’s a nice swimming spot right next to the Golino Ponte bus stop. The tenants who live in the same building are very friendly and quiet, we hardly noticed they were there. The only small downside was that we weren’t allowed to sit outside after 10 p.m., but this was clearly communicated in advance. Luckily, the inside of the house is very cozy and offers plenty of space to enjoy the evenings. Mike was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We can absolutely recommend this house!

This motel has a beautiful garden with swimming pool and playground for children. The family room is basic and not big, but well clean. Because there was a problem with the plumbing, we were also allowed to use the adjacent room. The host was very flexible with this and because of this we had a larger space at our disposal. Very well resolved! We thought it was a nice place during our transit.

The stay we liked super well. We were very well received by Yvonne, who showed us everything. You felt like paradise in this suite. The highlight was the hot tub, sauna, sauna, and steam room. Also the breakfast included in the price at the hotel next door the next morning was fine. We would definitely come back!

It is very nice place, we enjoyed our stay there. Quiet, rustic and with great swimming pool. Its also just couple of hours hike to the tibetan bridge.

Everything perfect, the hosts welcoming, kind, responsive, helpful, accommodating, smiling. When it comes to breakfast, we took it for 2 days. The first day was Sunday and we had braid and growing, but Monday was just bread, not great and a little dry... too bad, if I had known for the week I would have had lunch elsewhere! Otherwise the absolutely beautiful setting with greenery, the dream! Thank you for everything!

We actually only wanted to stay one night, but then extended it to another. The surroundings are beautifully designed especially for children. The hostel can be easily reached by public transport and is close to Lugano and yet quiet due to the large turnaround. When we entered our room it smelled incredibly fine and natural, the air was fresh and pleasant to breathe, we slept very well.... Thank you

All the staff together of the very dedicated director " Ms. Bittel " are very friendly and great hosts. The gastronomy in the internal Gault Millau Restaurant zur Alten Gasse is absolutely TOP and highly recommended. In the beautiful SPA area, you can really relax after skiing. We will be back.

The staff at the Hotel Admiral were super friendly and helpful. I thought it was best that we didn't check out until 12:00 pm =)

Very nice place to stay in Lugano with calm atmosphere. You get everything there from big kitchen, pool, lots of different spaces for hangning and the niciest garden I have ever seen. Will deffinetely come here again.

Truly a hidden gem! Daniele is a great host. He was very responsive to enquiries and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The room and private bathroom were super tidy and beautifully designed. Very rich and healthy breakfast. Located at the heart of Ticino, which is perfect if you want to explore the entire canton, even by train, as the train station is only a 5 min walk away.

It was fantastic to stay there. Vanessa and Hawa are such a kindly person and it was so nice to be there. absolutely recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the middle of the spectacular Goms region right on the Furka pass valley road. Our room was spotless and we had an incredible view of the Alps, town and forest.

The room and view were really fantastic. I felt right at home. Cleanliness, breakfast and value for money are really top. However, if you want to eat something in the restaurant, you should register this.

Giovanni took over this small hotel in February 2024. Here locals like to stay in the quiet garden and on the terrace. The food is excellently prepared, and the ambiance is an oasis for the soul. We were passing through from Northern Germany to Italy, absolutely recommended place to stay for one or two nights (or longer). Giovanni is a totally friendly person, speaks excellent English and is very committed.

Beautiful accommodation with lots of charm – a great mix of newly renovated comfort and the rustic character of an old house. The rooms are larger than in the photos and perfect even with children. Very well equipped, everything you need was there. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!
