My hideaway is a quiet loft since it does not face the street, it is very well designed and is very comfortable. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. It is very central with a 24-hour supermarket and a market 20 meters away with restaurants and tapas places. If it's Sunday you can walk to the flea market, which is spectacular, walk to museums, Retiro Park, Atocha station and the subway 20 meters away. Fully disinfected after each departure. We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

Loved this apartment—comfortable, well equipped and very clean, great location close to La Latina metro. Would be a ‘5’ all around if Lorena his co-manager could have provided a map we could use to find recommended bars and restaurants (as some of the hosts at our AirBnB have done for me before) and had been available to come down to let us in at the appointed time (2pm). We had to wait on the street for a few minutes. Be aware you have to climb 74 steps their apartment — no lift. Prepared us for our Camino walk. Thank you for a great Madrid experience.

We had a lovely two-week stay in Madrid, using this apartment as our home base. Located right on Plaza Mayor, with lovely views out the doors and from the balcony, this is a fabulous location. We were concerned about noise being a problem, but it really just showed the life in the Plaza and was quiet by midnight. We opted to eat off the plaza most meals, as there are better options and more affordable (less touristy). Easy to get to many parts of Madrid from this location, whether by walking, catching the train/subway, or getting a taxi. The apartment is very nicely appointed with a great kitchen and living room. Beds and bathrooms were nice too. We highly recommend this for families and groups visiting Madrid!

This was a wonderful stay. Julio Victor was incredibly communicative, so check in was easy and flexible. We felt at home right away and he even had the apartment ready three hours early for us which was nice since we were jetlagged. The apartment was cute, convenient and it had all the listed amenities and more. He even provided lots of water bottles for us, showed us how appliances in the house worked, and have us many helpful local recommendations. Also Julio and his family let us store our luggage in their apartment upon our early 8am arriva,l and then brought our bags to the AirBnB for us (this was so sweet). He went above and beyond to make this such a great stay!

The location is unbeatable, very close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, ideal for exploring the area. José was very kind, allowed us to check in earlier and always kept in touch during our stay. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities mentioned in the description, which made our stay very comfortable. There were three of us and we felt very comfortable. Vicente is a perfect host, he does everything to make us feel good. The house is large, there were 6 of us and it was impeccable! there is everything as at home (towel, shower gel, all cooking utensils and enough to make breakfast). The metro is a 12-minute walk and about 50 minutes from the apartment to reach the center via the metro. you will have peace of mind when you arrive at the apartment. Super nice terrace!
