Richard is an excellent host and was flexible with an early check in and met us at the apartment to show us around. A variety of restaurants within easy walking distance. Richard left a nice small gift which was greatly appreciated. We used the local free bus routes 001 & 002 which start within walking distance from this apartment. They help you get around

Fantastic stay! Having an elevator straight to the room was special! We came for a wedding so we had lots of clothes and good thing there was two big closets and plenty of hangers! Bathroom was perfect, shower had great pressure! Great view from out of the balcony and soo much to do and see in the Lavapiés area! Highly recommend! Great place for solo or two people! Thank you for a wonderful stay and being so communicative.

Sergio's apartment was fabulous....we would describe it as a junior studio...the bedroom is not separated by a closed door but far enough away from the living room area to afford privacy...with the doors and windows closed, the apartment was very quiet for sleeping. The double bed was very comfortable...not too firm and not soft!! The neighborhood was lively...great restaurants all up and down the street...great walking area...in fact, we walked all over the city!! We would recommend this apartment to anyone seeking to enjoy what the center city of Madrid has to offer...always felt very safe...even walking home at 2 am! Javier and Natalia’s place was as homey as it gets, it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was provided, and the location was perfect. It’s close to all the restaurants we wanted to try and nearby all the sights we wanted to visit, so we barely had to use transit. Communication could be a bit more consistent, but it was okay overall. What we appreciate most is that they accommodated us with an early check-in. When we arrived, we met Carmina, who was so welcoming and gracious toward our kids! We’d definitely stay there again!

Spacious apartment in a great location.

This is a beautiful apartment, well decorated and in a wonderful location right next to Retiro Park. We stayed for a month and were sad to leave. It is a short walk to everything you might need, bakeries, food markets, laundry, pharmacies, shops, and, of course, this being Madrid, excellent restaurants and neighborhood bars. The metro was just a block away, and bus stops right around the corner. Gabi, is a wonderful host. Attentive to all our needs and inquiries. She and her partner not only remodeled this apartment with great detail to make it functional, but decorated it in great taste. They are architects! Thank-you, Gabi. Hope we can come back soon!

Igor's apartment is exceptional! Matches the photos, extremely well-equipped and comfortable! Its location in the heart of the central districts is a plus while being very quiet! The terrace is very nice, the bedding impeccable, no complaints! One of the best homes since we started our adventures on Airbnb!

I had the most wonderful stay in Julia’s apartment — she made me feel right at home straight away, and was super helpful in the lead up to my trip, checking in, getting settled, and was very supportive throughout my visit. I found the neighborhood very peaceful, and well situated to explore Madrid by foot and via the metro. It was a cosy space, but suited me as a solo traveler not needing many amenities or resources. This apartment was perfect for our stay in Madrid..Close to the museums and Atocha Train station…Apartment was very clean and the kitchen had what we needed if we wanted to prepare a meal. It was over 90 degrees F outside and the a/c worked great. Gato Gato, the restaurant near the apartment was great and going uphill on Calle de Santa Isabel were lots of restaurants and food markets.

I had a fabulous stay in apartment... just perfect.... so beautiful and beautifully decorated/furnished.... it was peaceful and quiet but within 10mins of everywhere I wanted to be on foot... great bars and restuarants nearby.. would definitely love to stay again...

We enjoyed the neighborhood…residential area (so we felt part of the neighborhood) and in easy walking distance to grocery stores, bars, restaurants, fun shops, coffee bars, many museums, the Royal Conservatory of Music (free student performances!).

Great stop for a few days, did everything we needed in a short time, well worth the value.

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment. Couldn't find something more authentic and reasonable in cost than this! Location is perfect, close to everything: big grocery shop, bars, historical places, metro station (if you need to go outside of the center), Prado. The building itself is very interesting. The windows of our place looked to the courtyard, not to the street. The apartment was less spacious than it seemed on the pictures, but still was very cosy and clean, we found everything we needed there. The only strange thing was when the cleaning guy opened the door with his key at 9 am, although the check out time was 10:00 am.

very clean home and quiet neighborhood, friendly and responsive host, great location, it's walkable, and easy access to metro or bus stations. The building has historical significance and therefore does not have an elevator, very useful and considerable amenities like a straightener, and clean dishes

Great place and location!

The apartment is very nicely decorated and cozy. I felt right at home. The neighborhood is colorful and mostly free of tourists, and reasonably close to everything.

We had a very nice and recommended stay. Marta is a super attentive host and is available at all times in case you need anything. The apartment is 5-10 minutes from Gran Plaza España... it is very central and perfectly located, and at night there was no noise.

Rafael was a real host. Always friendly in the communications they had in a very quick way. The apartment is 200 meters from the Tirso de Molina metro station from which you can then reach any point in the city. Clean and tidy.

Great place to stay in Madrid. It’s a bit of a walk up a large hill to the main attractions but the addition of a spa definitely makes up for it. There’s some nice local bars and restaurants as well.

The apartment is very nice, very modern and very intimate, the only drawback is that it's too modern... Duke is an excellent host.
