Waterfront vacation rentals in La Veleta

We loved the apartment! Very clean, good value for money and as described. It was perfect for our little family, 2 separate bedrooms from the common room, so perfect for baby and toodler naps! ;) Clear, warm communication with the host, easy check in. Well-equipped apartment, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. The only hitch is the location, it's in a developing area of Tulum, so there aren't many shops/restaurants within walking distance, we had to take the car every time, and the roads are full of holes. But all in all, we had an excellent stay.

I've been staying at Airbnbs for ten years and Ma.Cristina is hands down the best host I've ever had! I reached out to her for help, suggestions, guidance every day of our trip. She responded quickly and politely provided us with all the support we needed. Tulum is fantastic, but it can be expensive and confusing. With M.Cristina, we were able to save money and easily navigate uncertainty. The apartment was so nice and exactly as it is described. It was a short walk to the Jaguar Park entrance and the beach club, "Our Habitas". We LOVED this beach club and went there twice! Ma.Cristina contacted the club and we were welcomed by the staff there where we enjoyed a stunning beach, pool, access to palapas, a live DJ (on Sunday), and delicious food and drinks. Including free entry to this club is an incredible perk offered by Ma.Cristina. She also helped us book a scooter and taxi service. I could write so much more! We can't thank Ma.Cristina enough for an amazing vacation!

This was a great spot to spend the night in Tulum. It wasn’t right in the heart of things (more in the area currently being built up), but still a pretty easy walk for us to some really good restaurants. Liz was very communicative and helped me to navigate how to get there and gave advice on things to do the next day and how to get to those things which was much appreciated. For us it was the perfect spot to spend a relaxing night in Tulum.

While we’d like to keep our review simple in hopes of keeping this place a secret gem, we have to give this property & group of hosts their flowers! First and foremost, there’s always this nervous feeling upon approaching your AirBnB, wondering if the property is going to look like the actual photos. The photos are amazing but when we stepped into the property we were in awe at how beautiful the inside and of course the balcony view were!! Breathtaking view! We LOVED being provided the option of adding a chef! Chef Danny 🙏🙏🙏 Having breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean. We went out on the kayaks one morning and had help bringing our luggage up. To address other reviews, yes there is construction next door that we noticed upon arrival but I promise you we didn’t hear a peep while in doors and it wasn’t that bothersome while we were on the balcony either. We will definitely be back to this property in our future travels. The concierge team was amazing from beginning to end!

Beautiful beach vacation. The on property staff were super friendly. Everything felt so safe and secure which was so important for my family. The snorkeling was amazing and you were steps away from a cenote. Great accommodations, great restaurants in the area. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Beautiful place! It’s even nicer than on the pictures, felt very expansive with amazing design, bedding, showers, etc. The complex has a beautiful pool to enjoy sunset. Located close to many restaurants and road is well developed (which is not always a case in Tulum). Would highly recommend!

Great experience in Tulum. House and property were very nice - roomy and clean and matched the pictures. The only drawback was the last 600 meters of the road to the house which is an adventure! Great responsiveness and very friendly hosts. Only 10-15 minutes from the beach or ruins and even closer to many restaurant and bar options...and of course you don't even need to leave the house with a well equipped kitchen, bbq and very cute outdoor bar!

This was a fantastic place. My husband and I came down for a quick visit and had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect down to the privacy, the outdoor seating, beachfront. I loved that I could open all the front doors and allow the constant ocean breeze to roll through the house. There were great restaurants and shops within walking distance from the beach. Our host very communicated with us from the time of booking till we left. He gave us suggestions for different places to eat and things to do. The staff was amazing! Every day the cleaning service would come by and tidy up the sand and the salt covered windows to keep a beautiful view all the time. Reed our host set up a Couples massage one evening at the villa that was so good. This was worth every penny, and so much better than being in the resorts.

Yellow Bird is a great place to enjoy Tulum. It is conveniently located to explore beaches, cenotes, clubs, restaurants, ruins, etc. La Valeta has great cafes, restaurants and bars with a lively night life The hosts were attentive, responding promptly to our queries and requests. The property has a good security arrangements.

My husband and I travelled with 2 of our boys, ages 13 and 6, and my in-laws (early 80’s) joined us mid-week. I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the attentiveness to our needs by the staff. Everything as pictured and then some. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again in a heartbeat. We are currently trying to plan our next stay. The private area along with convenience to a cenote, town, a grocery store - we did not feel like we missed a thing and everything we needed was so close! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here and would highly encourage you to. I worried our boys wouldn’t like it, but they had so much fun in the pool, along the shore in tide pools, hunting for crabs at night, watching the birds - it was all amazing. Definitely in our top 3 vacations and we hope to go again!

We had such a great stay! The place was clean, spacious, and had a cozy, homey feel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the pool was absolutely incredible — definitely a highlight of the stay. It’s beautifully maintained and gets plenty of sun throughout the day. The garden surrounding the property felt like a mini rainforest — waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning was such a peaceful experience. Gherardo was very accommodating and quick to respond, which made everything smooth and easy.

Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Deanna. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons trouvé le logement magnifique ! Situé dans un petit quartier très tranquille et bien entretenu. La piscine publique est aussi très agréable ! Coup de coeur pour la chambre des enfants avec le gros serpent, ils ont adorés ! ❤️

We had a great stay. The property was spacious with lots of enclosed yard space around the pool that was great for our kids, and having the separate guest house was really nice. The location was also great, just one block from great restaurants and shops. Short drive to the beach and cenotes as well.

The house is even better than in the pictures. Really well kept, quiet area. As many said you need the car to reach pretty much every area in Tulum, but it is just short drives. Pool and garden were regularly cleaned. We felt safe at all times. We were traveling with a child and they provided high chair and bed for him. We can only recommend this place and host.

Definitely find it in the daylight!! It is amazing!! My gps in iPhone does not work, this space is in a secure location.. so safe.. and beautiful!! And it has multiple store and restaurants located within the planned neighborhood… it is a paradise! I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful the plants are and the apartment is the most fine.. all wood and marble.. washer and dryer on site!! The pools, honestly between the days climbing the ruins.. I just stayed at the apartment and relaxed.. it was amazing! I will definitely stay here again.. I’m the mom and plan all the vacations. If your the mom, you know how tiring that can be.. for my next vacation I plan to bring my sister and just relax for a week here! It is that beautiful! And if you love plants, it’s definitely a must see.. the pool outside is open 24hours.. and if you want a view of the city.. you just chill in the pool on the roof!!! Love! Love! Love!

Marianna’s apartment was perfect, exactly like the description. The building is super nice, great amenities, especially the rooftop pool. The location is excellent too, great access to the grocery store, the main road to the beaches as well as lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Plus Marianna gave us some great recos for restaurants and beach clubs. Thank you Marianna, we will definitely be back!

Estuvimos súper cómodos en este alojamiento, buena comunicación y atención desde el principio, viajamos con 10 integrantes y todos pudimos disfrutarlo, excelente lugar para descansar y disfrutar de la alberca, el alojamiento está en una muy buena ubicación, sin duda regresaremos!

We loved every minute of our stay at Daniels place. The apartment is lovely and has all you need for an incredible stay! The area Aldea Zama is for the sure the best area to stay when visiting Tulum. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the beach and supermarket. Daniel provided us with great local recommendations and communication was perfect. Thank you for hosting us, Daniel!

We had a great stay at this apartment that lives up to everything in the description. the pool and cenote in the complex are quiet and relaxing. We had easy parking for our rental car and the location is centrally located to the many cenotes and temples we visited. we would definitely regret to this place if we're ever back in Tulum.

This was probably the best Air BnB I’ve ever rented. It was very well kept. Super clean, smelled great, and it had a fantastic coffee machine and a clothes streamer!!! The location was great. Right between town and the beach. The bikes were a great addition. It was easy to ride anywhere we wanted. Or walk down the street to numerous delicious restaurants. Our stay in Tulum was definitely enhanced by this place. The host Michael was wonderful and the little old man gate guard was so cute and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Although one friend chose to sleep on the couch one night because the couch was so comfortable!! There was a washer and dryer which came in handy. Two bathrooms which is always nice when travelling with multiple people. Loved, loved, loved this place. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
