Very nice accommodation, bright, very quiet although 2 steps from the city center. Perfect for a stay in Île de Ré.

We had a pleasant family weekend in the sun, without a car! From our accommodation, we were able to cycle the island's beautiful trails. For the beach, we could walk there. For shopping, everything was nearby. The accommodation was well suited for our 2 families, inside and out. Comfort and cleanliness. Beautiful memories for all of us!

Our stay at this beautiful property in La Couarde was nothing short of amazing! Just 100 meters from Plage Peuragot, the location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to the beach and bike paths. The house itself is full of charm, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Each room was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after days of exploring Île de Ré. The garden was a peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor amenities like the BBQ and sun loungers made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were fantastic and clearly put a lot of love into this space. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

A really great accommodation with a heated pool. 😀 We were able to enjoy the whole house which is tastefully decorated and close to all shops and the beach! We'll be back soon.

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

Great stay in this beautiful house! Well located, everything is as described, nothing to report! The only downside: the top bunk beds squeak a lot when you move at night.

We stayed a few days at Patrick and Brigitte's. This accommodation is a peaceful, quiet, so pleasant and well-equipped place! We enjoyed these few days at La Couarde very much. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a pleasant short stay at Dorothée and Franck's. We particularly appreciated the location: in the center of the village of La Couarde and quiet. The place has a lot of charm and has been tastefully furnished. It is indeed not suitable for infants or people with reduced mobility, but it was clearly stated. Our teens loved the cabin under the rooftop side.

Stunning studio in a perfect location. Just what we needed for 48hrs in St Martin. Stephanie’s recommendations for a restaurant and advice re getting to and from the airport were spot on. Highly recommended !

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The house is immaculate, ideally position closed to the town, market, shops car parking and bike rental which are all walkable. The house is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen has everything we needed during our stay. The bed was super comfortable and very big. The host provided an excellent digital reference book prior to arrival with details of everything we needed to know. Our trip to the Ile de Re was the highlight of our recent French holiday. The island is beautiful and best explored by bicycle (imo) as some of the beauty cannot be seen from the roads, such as oyster bars overlooking the sea along one of the bike paths. Definitely worth going. Thank you Kevin for a wonderful stay. You could not have been more helpful.

Fantastic apartment directly on the ocean! We enjoyed our stay in this apartment a lot! We were just a couple, but also for 4 people this is a great place to stay. The apartment is specious, extremely well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We are often very happy with the places we booked on AirBnb but this place is exceptional! The island is also worth a visit. We were here 4 nights and that felt like a very relaxing vacation. We will come back!

Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding, which is very comfortable. Ideally located, the residence is very nice, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I would highly recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the Ile de Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental next door, friendly). The added bonus is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Maryse is a very nice and available host and she is also very accommodating for check-in and check-out when possible! The apartment is ideally located. We rented for our 3-day weekend and we did everything on foot! The parking space is a big plus. We highly recommend Maryse and her property! You can go there without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed! Very eager to return to La Rochelle in this very beautiful property, tastefully decorated and so well located in La Rochelle!

Had a great time at Arnaud's apartment. Very well hosted by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

A gem of a place! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful location but within walking distance from the port and local shops.

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's apartment. It is located close to the port. Facing to the west, it is sunny at the end of the day . It has a parking space and bike storage in a secure residence (a big plus for a stay on Île de Ré where the interest is to get around by bike). It is well equipped and very clean. Bedding is good. Ingrid is friendly and available. Good location!
