Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hollands Kroon

The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. In the kitchen, we were missing a few things in terms of dishes. It also gets warm relatively quickly there, as it is an annex. At first we were irritated that the door to the apartment is not lockable and in the hallway a staircase goes up to the landlord. But we had our privacy and no one came running down the stairs. Communication very friendly and fast.

We enjoyed 6 days of the May holidays in Micaela's home. Everything as described, super neat and clean, with space to tidy up our own stuff. Many activities at a short distance, and with the beautiful weather we were able to cycle a lot in the region. Micaela welcomed us very kindly upon arrival and explained everything, and always communicated very quickly in the whole process. Definitely recommended!

Amazing stay, 3rd time here now. Accommodation is spotlessly clean in beautiful surroundings, very well equipped. Our Hosts were super friendly as always. Will definitely be back.

The apartment is very cozy and the amenities are very complete and of high quality. Coffee was available and the beds were very comfortable. Agaath and her husband are very friendly and flexible, as well as easy to reach. Early check-in and slightly later check-out made our stay even more uncomplicated. Very nice, thanks! I would recommend the Airbnb to anyone. You can get to the beach quickly, as well as to the beautiful city of Alkmaar!

We were able to spend wonderful days at Liesbeth and Jaap's place and immediately felt at home! Check-in went smoothly and we were welcomed with open arms. This place is really only to be recommended with all my heart and we would come back any time! 🥹

Inke is super friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home. The apartment is lovely, modern but cozy, full of beautiful details. Everything was 100% clean and we lacked nothing. The location directly in front of a small river is amazing and provides great Dutch atmosphere. On the other site of the property there’s a harbor with free parking spaces directly in front of the door. Supermarkets are 5-10min walking away and the shopping street is also 5min. Medemblik is a beautiful and very Dutch city offering lots of nature, plants, water and cats everywhere. You can also see a lot of cats walking around from the dining room and Inke‘s cat often came by to visit us as well. Medemblik also has a windmill, a castle and a traditional steam train, as well as of course the IJsselmeer. All in all really lovely, 10 out of 10 😊

Absolutely recommended, really a mega beautiful location and also a very nice, modern and new cottage. Really very cozy inside and also outside a very nice place to sit. Really enjoyed 2 beautiful nights in the tranquility! Very nice contact with the host and quick response. Felt at home!!

A spacious, slightly older apartment, but which leaves nothing to be missed and was very clean. Although it is in the middle of the city, it was very quiet. Shops, restaurants and the ferry port to Texel are within walking distance. Also free parking for the car was always easy to find nearby.

Maaike and Jeroen were lovely hosts, making us feel welcome in their historic monument home. With 40 chickens, two rabbits, one cat, and one dog, we felt like we were one with nature. We had a safe place in the barn for our bicycles, and there was everything we could ask for to cook nice meals. Fresh flowers on the table and treats in the cupboards, we felt really spoiled. The bed was the biggest we‘ve seen in a long time, and it was extremely comfortable. There were giant tulip fields to the left and right of the house. The sunsets were glorious and make for taking endless photographs.

This place was very nice for our stay. We had everything we needed and the use of the bikes made seeing the surrounding area an amazing experience! Pieter was very proactive with check in and helpful recommendations. Even providing snacks, drinks and a note to welcome us. Would definitely recommend this place when visiting North Holland.

The flat was very cute and peaceful. The owners we're very kind, helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and nice to take long walks. Would definetely recommend staying there and we would Love to come again.

A wonderful place to stay. Totally cozy, clean, bright and friendly. Great communication with Elles, easy to reach and still 100% privacy. Great location to view tulip fields in May or to drive to one of the magnificent beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Danielle. She proudly showed us the accommodation. We could see that a lot of love and dedication had been put into the atmosphere of the cottage. We slept wonderfully, with indeed a beautiful unobstructed view of the meadows. Kitchen equipment was equipped with all necessities. In short, nothing was lacking. Texel is a nice and versatile Wadden Island. You'll be where you need to be in no time. By car and by bicycle. Crossing by ferry went without problems (you are there in no time....) Parking with a Texelvignet is definitely recommended. We'd love to come back. Greetings Arno and Ingrid.

Very nice place in quiet location - perfect for unwinding. We felt super comfortable. By car, you can quickly reach surrounding cities and beaches. Lizelot is always there for questions or tips for her guests. And it's definitely worth stopping by in their lovingly designed store. Right across the street is a great restaurant that invites you for a coffee by the water or a delicious dinner in the beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended! :)

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

We really loved it at Dick and Thildy's place. The two are very friendly, open and give great tips for the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, you felt very comfortable - surrounded by flower fields and a rural idyll with 2 sweet cats, ducks & chickens. Despite the construction of the new accommodations, we did not feel disturbed - I am curious how they look then!! 🙏🏻 Definitely a great place to explore North Holland and experience the colorful flower fields!

We stayed at the apartment for a week with our children. The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos and descriptions. Everything was clean and cleanly equipped. You can see and hear the sea from the balcony. The bedrooms could be darkened superbly. Henk was always available and friendly. The apartment is located in a large residential building. Still, it was totally quiet and relaxing! The location is excellent. In a few minutes you can walk to the beach, in the city with a supermarket, no shops and restaurants. There is also a bicycle rental in the immediate vicinity. We liked it without exception and can recommend the apartment without reservation.

Great stay, beautiful location easy walk from Alkmaar station, has everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Very close to restaurants and shops.

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back
