Pleasant, spacious (70 m2) appartment on the whole groundfloor of my house with private, modest kitchen and private bathroom and access to a large garden (150m2) in the center of Den Helder. Walking distance to the sea, the trainstation (75 minutes to Amsterdam) and the ferry to Texel. Parking is free in a distance of 300 meter, and around the house is a blue parking zone here you can stand for three hours. Garage available to park your bikes inside. Supermarket one minute walking distance.

You have a view of the beautiful tea garden where you can enjoy delicious coffee and tea. Oostwoud has a strategic rural location, close to cities such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik (10-20 min), Alkmaar and Amsterdam (30-40 min) and nature such as the IJsselmeer (5 min) and the beach (40 min). Also an ideal starting point for cycling routes.

Outside there is a terrace with 2 seats and wide views over the countryside. Supermarket within walking distance. Here you can buy your freshly baked rolls but also sustainable Texel's meat in the morning. Several eateries and just outside the village of Novalishoeve for a nice lunch or coffee.

Wonderful to find peace in a haystack! Beautiful spacious and modern apartment suitable for max. 4 persons. Lutjewinkel is centrally located. For example, Schagen can be reached by bike and Hoorn and Alkmaar can be reached in half an hour by car. Amsterdam is also easy to reach in 45 minutes by car. Schagen also has a train station. Visit nice activities in the region and the beautiful North Holland beaches can be reached by car within 20 minutes!

Shaving bridge between city and beach

The village of Schagerbrug is located in the Kop van Noord-Holland, in the municipality of Schagen. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can hike and bike excellently. Not far west of Schagerbrug is a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
