House vacation rentals in Hollands Kroon

A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

Had a great stay at Nel's place! The house and surroundings are stunningly beautiful. You can spend every morning with a coffee by the water. 🌻 However, you should expect a lot of insects because of the location. 🕷️ We especially accompanied us on a daily basis. We would always come back 😊

Love this place, if you driving in Netherlands, then this place is perfect. You can easily reach Amsterdam and Volendam by car from here. Recommended!

We had a great week at Rebelle and Joost's place. In addition, we were always lucky with the weather and were able to spend some hours of sunshine on the terrace. From Dirkshorn we made beautiful excursions to the surrounding cities such as Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Schagen, Petten, Zandvoort ... For this, the accommodation was an ideal starting point. We were very satisfied, the sanitary facilities were a little small but sufficient for a vacation 😊 The living area and bedrooms were great. The beach is easily accessible by car as well as zoos. Overall very satisfied.

A very clean an bright chalet with all amenities. Plenty of privacy, loved the separate patio listening to the birds. Dishwasher in a separate room in house making it unhandy . Missed a normal floor brush only. But all in all will definitely return.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to recharge, this is the place! Surrounded by diverse and varied pets. The accommodation is beautiful and close to shops and many towns and villages to visit. Sharon is very responsive and responds immediately . Following his advice, we were able to get to Amsterdam by train. I highly recommend it!!

Fantastic! We were greeted very warmly by Noortje right after our arrival. The place was 100% up to our expectations. The cottage is very modern with a lot of love for detail. Noortje was always very attentive and always available for questions. We were regularly supplied with eggs from the in-house chickens, the morning omelets were the best! The place is very quiet, right on the water. If you want, you can throw the fishing rod directly from the terrace into the canal. Fantastic sunsets can be watched from the terrace, and the outdoor area is ideal for a sunny breakfast in the morning. All in all we had a perfect week at Noortje and Karl's and will be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay at Jasper's house, which is decorated with great taste and has a lovely flower garden. From the moment we arrived, my wife made us feel very comfortable enjoying the freshly cut flowers. The hosts, Jasper and his wife, are charming, caring and especially with flowers, wine upon arrival. The house is not only beautiful, but also very comfortable, with quality bedding, spacious and well appointed spaces, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The garden invites you to relax, with places to read, rest, and even have breakfast alfresco. It is a peaceful and ideal setting to recharge, with many opportunities for excursions in the area, whether to the beaches of the North Sea, the dunes, the forests, the charming small surrounding towns or the Ile de Texel. We highly recommend bringing bikes to explore the area.
