Loft vacation rentals in Government of Amsterdam

Beautiful, artistic, serene loft apartment. Looks exactly like photos- lovely decor and art, big open windows, gorgeous kitchen and furniture, immaturely clean. We especially loved the small patio overlooking the canal- so peaceful for breakfast or a glass of wine, we watched local kids and families swim and boat late into the summer evenings. Chantal was very responsive and helpful. I lost my passport, and she and her friend went above and beyond to help me find it. The neighborhood is very cool- feels more local than touristy- and a beautiful place to explore with some adorable small restaurants. It’s only a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and a great shopping area, and a 25-min walk to Anne Frank House and lots of other popular places. Also easy to catch buses/trams. The only difficult thing was that we had to share one key, which got a little tricky when we wanted to go different directions. But otherwise, I LOVED this place and would highly recommend it!

The apartment is located in the beautiful Jordaan area, which is full of charm, cozy cafes, and boutique shops. It was incredibly convenient — everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance, and public transport was also close by. The neighborhood felt safe. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a perfect home base for exploring the city. Highly recommend staying here if you want a true Amsterdam experience in a fantastic location!

Staying at Rosa and Nander’s place was a total treat! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The space is warm, inviting, and with a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax: just the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the town. The house is surrounded by quiet streets, and everything you need is just a short walk away, whether it's a café, a supermarket, or a restaurant. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back. Thanks, Rosa and Nander, for making us feel like part of the family!

This was absolutely one of the loveliest homes I've ever stayed in and I travel frequently all over the world. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We chose to grocery shop and have dinner in since being "at home" was so nice. Nathalie (owner) was away from city, but her friend Jan William took excellent care of us, providing info on anything we needed. We had a lost luggage situation and both checked in frequently with us to make sure we were ok with offers of whatever assistance we needed. The home is an easy walk to the museums and there are so many restaurants and shops within a 5-minute walk. I will absolutely book this home again when visiting Amsterdam.

Staying at Jussie’s apartment was incredible. Jussi is a great host and was friendly, accommodating, flexible and fast at responding to our messages and requests. Although the apartment looks more ‘lived-in” compared to the advertised photos, it is clean, comfortable and has a lovely homely feel to it. The apartment is located close to a lot of nice cafes and grocery shops, Jussi gave us some great recommendations for cafes/restaurants in the area too. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely time in Amsterdam of which the accommodation played a big hand in the overall experience as it was exactly what we were looking for in a place to stay. Marie-Sophie took the time to check us in personally and let us know all the essential details regarding the apartment and the surrounding area. All in all, we would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay in Amsterdam and to not be too central to the city centre. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Wir wurden von anfang an mit viel Herz und Freundlichkeit empfangen. Wenn es Fragen gab wurden diese schnell beantwortet! Die Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich wir haben alle auch super geschlafen. Es war wie ein 2tes Zuhause. Danke für alles wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ce séjour à Amsterdam nous a beaucoup plu. Vanessa nous a très bien accueilli et nous a clairement précisé les différents points. Son logement, un authentique loft, était très propre. Il est suffisamment personnalisé pour que l'on ne se sente pas dans une simple location, sans que cette personnalisation ne soit trop envahissante. L'équilibre est parfait, aussi parce que cette décoration correspondait à nos propres goûts. Le loft est à distance piétonne du centre, et suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas subir l'agitation de la ville. La terrasse, donnant sur un canal, était ainsi très calme. Et nous n'avons eu aucun bruit durant la nuit, l'immeuble étant très silencieux également. Une mention particulière pour la rue "Haarlemmerdijk" qui mène au centre, et qui, à 500m du logement, propose de nombreux restaurants très bien, des petites boutiques, dans une architecture d'immeubles de petite hauteur. Location à recommander donc !

We stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic time. It was our first big trip with our toddler and the place was perfect - toddler bed, toys, books, highchair, plates, utensils, and changing table! The neighborhood is quiet but it is easy to get everywhere and it is right near Vondelpark. The garden outside is very peaceful and a a great place for a meal in. We would definitively stay here again!

J'ai passé un séjour très plaisant chez Michelle et Marc. L'appartement était propre et tel que décrit. Il est situé au calme, à proximité de l'hyper-centre. Les échanges avec Michelle ont été très agréables, je reviendrais avec plaisir dans ce logement si je repasse à Amsterdam. Merci beaucoup :)

My wife and I had visited Amsterdam to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found the perfectly-peaceful, romantic loft right outside the main city centre. Tatjana was an incredible host with timely & friendly responses. We felt very lucky to find this listing! We arrived to a very clean & cozy space after a brief walk up some fairly steep stairs (just an FYI to older/less mobile guests) to the 3rd floor. The lighting was awesome and the space was even larger than the pictures depict. The bathroom was very comfortable with great temperature and water pressure in the shower. The Wi-Fi was strong and handled streaming movies very well. The kitchen was fully stocked and pristine, as well. Great couch and kitchen table, too! We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to be back for a visit soon! Thanks again, Tatjana!

Die Loftwohnung ist in einer sehr schönen Gegend, viele Bars und Restaurants, Tram/Busstationen sind in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr cool eingerichtet, für uns war es perfekt! Zwei Stöcke, geile Kaffeemaschine, offene Wohnung, genial. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wonderful stay! My parents and I were in town for my brother's graduation, and the hosts went above and beyond with a warm welcome and the kind gift of stroopwafels. The space was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful and memorable stay! :)

Love the flat, the neighborhood, and Linda! She was so warm and welcoming and always responsive to any questions. The flat is absolutely gorgeous. The design is modern but still very comfortable and inviting. Biggest kitchen and bathroom of any place I’ve ever stayed at in Amsterdam. Don’t miss out on Bad Huis just around the corner. Terrific food and a wonderful place to relax and feel like a part of the neighborhood. It’s right across from the tram stop for the 14 tram. Will absolutely stay here again!

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Wir haben uns stets gut aufgehoben gefühlt, waren gut an die Innenstadt angebunden, haben alles notwendige in der Unterkunft vorgefunden (und sogar noch mehr) und haben keinerlei Beschwerden.

The apartment is beautiful, very nicely decorated and spacious, it honestly looks better than the photos. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Amsterdam.
