Waterfront vacation rentals in Government of Amsterdam

This place was amazing for our stay in Amsterdam as a family of 4. Totally convenient to transit and with plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery very near by. We felt like we were immersed in the city in the best way.

The location is amazing. You can easily find the museums you want to see and the flavors you want to taste nearby. Duygu's a very friendly person. She told us everything in the area before we asked. A wonderful house to stay with friends. And a great host.

We had a great stay, the place matched the description and we didn't need anything.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Douwe even gave an extra bed as there were 4 of us. They also prepare some stroop waffles as welcome snack :) Location was really convenient and located in a quiet street. Douwe was also very accommodating and helpful during check in & check out. Will definitely recommend the apartment!

A 10-star accommodation, quite an experience

Great place to stay, not too far from transport links and very easy to get to. Everything was clean and Karin qas a great host. Area is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful, its also located not too far from the olympic hotel and stadium which makes for an easy landmark to ask for directions to if you get a little lost.

Lovely small studio, in an ideal location , Thomas was very communicative and helpful, definitely recommend!

We stayed at Michiel's place for 3 nights and loved the apartment and the location. A ten minute walked got us to the Metro and the ride to the center of town was about 15 minutes. One day we decided to walk back from town, about 35 minutes and it was very pleasant. A Lidl grocery store is a 5 minute walk. Michiel was very responsive to our questions and gave us excellent answers. Appreciated the 1.5 baths, meaning, one bathroom had toilet and sink and the other had shower, tub and sink. If you plan on watching tv, you will need to download chromecast, but why watch tv when you can enjoy Amsterdam. Nice outside patio too. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent 3 nights in the cottage. Very nice tastefully decorated and very well furnished cottage with car accessibility and parking. Gite located in a very pretty city, within walking distance and with all the necessary shops. Gite near Amsterdam (20 minutes to access a P+R) but also close to Utrecht. Perfect!

We had a great time. The house is spacious with a small exterior overlooking a waterway. Amsterdam is very accessible by public transport. Good communication with Gerrit.

Bas & Blaisse, both were so friendly. Bas reached me out with complete guide & information in a flash of time once they confirmed my booking. They both were extremely helpful & the house was just amazing with all the facilities you need. The top notch was the master bedroom in the second floor with a water run view. I highly recommend this place & I also request you guys to help them keeping the property in the same beautiful shape. Thank you so much Bas & Blaisee. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay & you guys made it to feel home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Mati's canal home apartment was an ideal location for seeing Amsterdam & for a girl's weekend catch up. Mati is a fantastic host. Her flowers made her door extremely photo worthy and the space was larger than we expected. In addition, she suggested an excellent lunch spot for our onward journey to Delft. We hope to be back!

This was such a wonderful find just outside of the hustle of Amsterdam! The house was clean, easy to enjoy with a family. Close to the beach, store, transportation. Quick tram ride to the heart of the city but a nice escape from it. Communication was excellent and Guido made everything easy!

Noortje's house is really charming, very clean, practical and even prettier than in the photos. We were 5 people and made us feel very comfortable there. The bus stop is right next to the house, it allows to quickly get to the center of Amsterdam (in less than 10 min) but also to easily radiate in the area (Edam, Volendam, Marken). Note: a fairly busy road close to the house but it was not really disturbing.

We loved Helen’s unit. It was what we imagined, clean, quiet, close to many, many restaurants and cafes. We especially liked the cafe within a few steps from the unit. Helena was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. What a wonderful view of the canal when you walk to and from the unit. Communication was excellent as well. We recommend booking this unit before anyone else does. A hidden gem. We’ll be rebooking on our next trip to Amsterdam.

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid’s airbnb. Check in was easy and Ingrid was a very flexible host (allowing us to check in earlier than anticipated as the apartment was ready). The apartment was very clean and cosy. We enjoyed the peaceful, quiet location of the apartment, with it being just a short 15 minute walk from the metro station (Noord), and in a very picturesque town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Ingrid!!

Such a great weekend in Amsterdam in this spacious apartment, very well located on the banks of the canals.

Hugo’s home was absolutely perfect! The best location - able to walk everywhere - the street and canal it was on is so quiet and peaceful and beautiful. The street has a beautiful view of a church and hearing the church bells every day was an added treat. Hugo is the absolute best host - so quick to answer any questions and so full of recommendations. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. We only used the kitchen for coffee - Hugo is very generous in providing coffee - and we had such a lovely view of the canal when sitting at the table drinking it. We loved this place - everything about it. We hope to come back and stay here again.

Lovely apartment in a nice quieter location close to a couple of parks. Walkable to most of the sights and great restaurants. We had a very comfortable stay and Deborah is a great host, always available if needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay in beautiful Amsterdam.

Words cannot express how lovely Joze’s place was! She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, and we immediately felt right at home! She was extremely helpful and communicative! The home is located in a fantastic quiet neighborhood with walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer! The home is filled with Joze’s artwork and it makes for stunning finishing touches! We cannot wait to come back to Amsterdam and hopefully have the opportunity to stay at her place again! We had the BEST time!

Second stay at Monique's apartment in less than a year. Nice apartment, very well maintained, very bright, in the northern sector of Amsterdam, away from the crowds of tourists, but very easy to access to the tourist center of Amsterdam. In addition, the apartment is very safe, nicely decorated, with quality bedding, duvet and towels. We recommend this apartment without hesitation and we plan to return if the opportunity arises.
