Everyone who has been inside here was pleasantly surprised The space of over 30 m2 has AIR CONDITIONER,a caravan with a double bed. It's an experience and a real vacation feeling. Bright and spacious room top floor....two stairs. The house is well placed with easy access to Amsterdam Airport [30 minutes], City Center [30 minutes]. The connection to Amsterdam by public transport is real easy. Quiet+ save area in the green south of Amsterdam. Shopping mall across the park, few minutes walk. Metro+bus stations 2 min. walk, not noticeable in the house. Also night busses to and from Amsterdam. No breakfast. NOT CITY CENTER of Amsterdam...that's why it's the CHEAPEST.

A'dam Good Story! On the 2nd and 3rd floor of my home I created an affordable place to stay. Comfortable and clean for friends & families. What you see is what you get. I live in a quiet, residential neighbourhood and perfect for like minded people. The metro to the city runs until around 00:15, not ideal for nightcrawlers. You are in 10 min in the middle of the city centre because metro (Spaklerweg) and train (Amstelstation) are very nearby.

A lovely weekend retreat for my brother and I visiting for our yearly pilgrimage to Amsterdam. Host was extremely accommodating, providing us instructions on how to find the place, showing us around the flat and advising us on restaurants & places to visit around the area. Host even kindly gave us free drinks, which was very lovely of them. The place itself was visually lovely, very clean, comfortable and the large window & sitting area gave a very nice atmospheric charm. Transport-wise, the accommodation is easy to get to from the centre of Amsterdam via tram. Would strongly recommend and happy to book here again!

In summary - excellent. All was as described, the location was perfect for Central Haarlem with safe / secure private parking for your car, this was most helpful. All instructions for remote access were clear and not complicated. Rental unit was as pictured, bathroom very clean, apartment clean, very functional and comfortable. Could do with a lick of paint only at the entrance possibly bumped by cases , if been busy all year as I guess this is not an issue or a problem. Good value for location with parking. Thank you Erik, PS. Sorry for the delay in writing review - been on holiday for a few days... I am looking forward to a return to Haarlem and a stay with you. It was wonderful walking into Dirk’s home after a very long flight and having it be so clean and comfortable. The goodies he left for us were very much appreciated as well. He was super responsive whenever I had questions, before and during our visit. It was nice having a place to park our car, and also great to be so close to the train station. We brought my 96yo mother with us so having a couch and half bath downstairs was perfect. In the couple of days we had nice weather, it was lovely sitting outside, enjoying both the sun and the neighborhood cat who visited. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have met Dirk personally. He rocks!!!!
