Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cowichan Valley

My Family and I had a wonderful stay at Gabriel's property. We were a group of 8 adults and 2 children, and we all fit comfortably inside his home. There was a lot of seating available to dine together as a family, and a lot of separate areas for when we wanted some time for ourselves. The kids enjoyed exploring the beaches for different sea creatures when the tide was low. I would recommend water shoes or something more sturdy than flip flops. The sandy areas created strong suction against our soles, and there are a lot of rocks and shells around the shore area. During high tide, we were visited by some sea lions in the distance. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked many of our meals and there were ample pots, pans, seasonings, plates and cutlery available for our use. The property was clean, and it good condition. Plenty of towels were provided for the beach and hot tub. I would recommend this property for large groups who want a peaceful beach vacation.

The Lakehouse was beautiful and very peaceful. The house is spacious and comfortable with a terrific view! We really enjoyed having access to the paddle boards and kayak and had a wonderful time on Shawnigan Lake.

Our family had an unforgettable stay here and would love to come back some day! It was a beautiful space and location, close to shops and restaurants, steps to an excellent beach and is a friendly neighbourhood. Will recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a great start to summer!

Shauna was really responsive and helpful if we had any questions. The view of the lake was beautiful and the space was comfortable and worked great for our big group.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

Accommodations were beyond our expectations. The home and property are both stunning. Very quiet and private, it was perfect for our girls getaway. Tania was very accommodating with our requests, and always replied promptly. Would highly recommend this property 10/10

I’ve never seen an air bnb with so many positive reviews, and now I know why. Robin & Lisa’s property is a dream. The property is spacious, the amenities are lovely and I felt so comfortable knowing my dog was welcome as well. They even had little doggy gates to use if your pup likes to try to wander. The hot tub was warm, the drinks cold. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!! ☀️😎

We had a wonderful family vacation at Christine’s beautiful home! Everyone enjoyed the sauna and the fire pit! The gorgeous view speaks for itself!! The home was spacious and accommodated our group of 7 easily for games in the evening in the living room and around the dining table For meals! The Beds were comfy and the space was clean and had enough towels etc to accommodate everyone! The kitchen was well stocked with all the things you could need for cooking! Christine was easy to get ahold of and super accommodating!! We give this spot a ten out of ten!!! Thanks again Christine we really enjoyed our stay!

Had a great weekend stay at Lesha’s cozy little cabin. Even though it was super hot outside the cabin was nice and cool inside probably because of how nice and nestled into the trees it is. Really enjoyed my peaceful morning coffee sitting on the porch in the rocker looking out over the lake and the dock/lake access was perfect during the heat of the day. This is a great home base for a nice relaxing Shawnigan Lake trip!

Lovely stay at Maple Ridge Cottages, cute little cozy space to hangout by the lake. This would be the perfect place in the summer while you can jump into the lake and use the provided water equipment (canoe, paddle-boards) enjoyed the wood burning fireplace at night and cooked our own meals on the BBQ. Only a short driving distance to town.

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

The cottage and surrounding area was extremely peaceful and absolutely beautiful. I recommend coming out here if you want true relaxation

Julie's place is spectacular. 7 of us came up for a bachelorette weekend and this place did not disappoint! It has everything we needed and more! the back deck was probably our favourite place, gorgeous view of the lake. We got to take advantage of the sleeping nook, and it rained the first night and the sound of the rain on the roof was amazing! I hope to be able to stay there again and discover even more things as we were just too busy to enjoy them all! ! I highly recommend for any occasion! I hope to be able to stay again soon! Amazing place to stay. My kids love the cottage and spend most of the time outside playing in nature. Ashley was quick to respond. We will definitely would like to come back here again.

Very peaceful and serene stay, host was very friendly!

The cabin had all of the accommodations we needed. It was nice to be able to have a fire during the cooler hours, and to be able to walk down to the docks. We bought delicious frozen pizza and lasagna from the store for our first night there.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The place is spacious and beautiful. The host family is friendly and considerate. They really thought of everything.

We loved our stay and wished we had planned a longer trip. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

A beautiful and serene stay at this adorable cottage. Lots of love and care have gone into ensuring a most pleasant stay. Just a short drive from Gagnes village for restaurants and local artisans galore. Host was always responsive when needed. Bed was super comfy and the heated bathroom floor was a delight during the cooler evenings. Would highly recommend this quaint stay!
