Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cape Fear River

The house was clean and the kids loved the ping pong table. We liked that we could walk across street to the recreation center with a playground mini golf and a pool! Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

The house was just as described, beautiful home, very convenient location. Beautiful porches for views. Jandy was a wonderful host. She always responded right away. We really enjoyed our time here, the kids really loved the big pool! Would 100% stay here again.

Loved our stay! Initially selected primarily for the fully-fenced yard but loved the home’s decor and hammock in the backyard. Was so much larger than I expected. Very clean, hosts are exceptional. Had everything and more that I could have expected. Easiest clean up/packout! Such a tremendous location. Near to everything and also just far enough away together a solid nights rest every night. We loved it and can’t wait to return with more family next time.

We had a great stay at Kolleen’s place. Loved the front screened porch to relax in and listen to the birds. Was very peaceful. We came down for Easter and to visit my son, who lives in Oak Island. Kolleen’s place was just as described and had plenty of room for my family of 5. We even hosted dinner, one evening, for 7 of us (plus 2 dogs) and there was plenty of room. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, just a little tricky crossing the main road (but doable). The bikes were an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

She was very responsive whenever we had issues and was a great host. It felt very homely, well decorated, and had room for our stuff. My kids enjoyed running in the big backyard. Her appliances were great.

Our stay at Emily's place was great! She was extremely responsive to all our questions. The location is very walkable to Duke's East Campus, which was very convenient for us. The place is clean and has everything we needed for a peaceful stay.

Randy's place will be the first place I look for on my return. He was friendly and very helpful to me finding things to do and see. His place was clean, and most of all very cozy. It was private with a small porch to sit and have morning coffee outside. Only a 2 mile drive to the ocean beach was a plus. Convenience grocery store right across the street. Awesome place.

We have been to many AirBnbs over the years. We can say without hesitation that this was the most comfortable place we have ever been to. The space was super comfy, well appointed, in a quiet residential neighborhood, but within a few blocks of Greensboro shopping. We went out to a couple of great restaurants, the Green Valley Grill for dinner and Mimi's for breakfast. The zoo is awesome. If we are ever in this area again, this is the place we will choose. I spent about 8 weeks at this place and was very satisfied with its location, peaceful neighborhood, size and facilities. The unit is spacious and has everything needed for daily life. It's also very convenient to grocery stores, easy access to highways and a very enjoyable drive through the forest to Duke University. Kathryn is warm-hearted, very friendly and willing to help whenever needed. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Nichole's residence. The place was super clean and the colors remind you of the beach. Loved the decor. Beds were comfy. We had a small issue with the toilet but Nichole had someone out within 30 minutes of me calling. I had my elderly parents with me so I appreciated how they moved expeditiously. I recommend this place and would stay again. Thanks for everything! 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay. The best part was the location and that it was dog friendly. We really loved the quick walk to the boardwalk to grab a coffee in the morning or restaurants for a meal. I felt very safe and the place had everything we needed and more.

We had a wonderful time here. Great spot, such a quick walk to the beach and drivable to so many fun spots to visit or eat. Teresa was communicative and friendly, and we had everything we needed for a fun beach weekend getaway.

Rachel's place is a very nice place to stay. It was very clean, and the linens provided were a plus! The photos do not do it justice, it is much brighter. Rachel responded very quick. This is one of the nicer places we have stayed in at St. Regis!

This is one of the best Airbnbs I ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable with beautiful Ocean views and access to the water.

Beautiful condo in a perfect location! Loved the balconies looking out at the water. The condo was so quiet which we loved! Anita was a great host. I'd definitely come back!

Crystal’s place was super awesome. Ten times previous better than an Airbnb that I rented in 2022. I thought about not ever renting an Airbnb ever again. But this gave me hope. This place had it all and I felt right at home. The building is between the sound and the ocean side. Felt like they were both in my backyard. The unit does not have a view but the complex had so many places to sit, swing, eat and had several grills for use. Cary was amazing and was always available if needed!! Will def come here again soon!!

My family and I had an amazing time at Josh & Jill’s place. Their home is exactly as the pictures show. The decor is super cute and beach themed. The screened in porch is relaxing. Though we didn’t use it, there is a pool right across the street. The shuttle stop is also across the street which shuttles you to the beach and back. Alligator Adventure was a really cool place to go that is nearby, as well.

This was our second time staying at this air bnb and it’s always a great time with the family. Ocean Keyes is a quiet spot with multiple private pools, a quick walk to the beach, and super close to restaurants and night life. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to MB!
