Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cape Fear River

Perfect place for a family to stay. Enjoyed Thanksgiving weekend in this lovely home and it was perfect for our whole family including the little ones. Close to downtown Pinehurst yet set in a quiet neighborhood that allowed for true relaxation. We loved it and would highly recommend to anyone. Everything was comfortable and we felt right at home.

Jackie was very accommodating in letting us check in early, great place to stay for a quick pinehurst weekend.

We had a great stay for a weekend of racing at The Rock. The house layout was perfect for our family. The game room was a hit with the boys. The driveway was large enough for our trucks and trailer. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The azaleas were beautiful and the home is in a private, quiet setting.

The house was quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch was the perfect hang out spot. The hosts were very responsive when we had to reach out. Would definitely recommend

I had a great night at Jennifer’s place. I was exhausted from a long drive, booked the reservation very late but I was so appreciative of Jennifer’s quick response and for accommodating me and my dog on such short notice. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and finally get some sleep! Both bedrooms had super comfy beds and I chose to sleep in the bedroom with blackout curtains so I had the best rest ever. The bathroom was pristine and I loved the way it was decorated. The shower was awesome! I also loved that I could tell dogs were very welcome in the home (cute doggy decorations, etc). My dog enjoyed exploring the yard and playing out there. This home will be our first choice the next time we drive through the state!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is just as it was listed. If I am ever in the area again and the house is available I would stay again.

This place was perfect for what we needed it for! Attended a concert in the area and had great proximity to everything in Cary and Raleigh. Victor was amazing to plan and communicate with and would definitely rent again if in the area again.

Beautiful place. Very clean, easy access, great instructions for checking, and host is very responsive ! Enjoyed our stay.

Although the room is small for two people, it is thoughtfully designed and tastefully appointed. We found everything we needed for a weekend getaway, including folding tables in the closet and beach gear on the patio. Weather was spectacular, so we enjoyed the location, with lots of outdoor seating and a long view of the marsh. Bonuses: the luxurious bathrobes and an All-Park Pass for guests’ use! The Millstone Biscuit Company on Bus. 17 heading north is a great place for breakfast. We would definitely book again with Gail and Gerry - Ann & Lev

This place— I would recommend a thousand times over. Gail and Gerry are some of the sweetest hosts I’ve ever had the honor of meeting and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and peaceful. The acute attention to detail, such as music playing when we entered for the first time, truly showed just how much these hosts take pride in the place they’ve set up as well as the care and love they show towards their guests. We will be back!

Our stay was wonderful. The location is good, the cottage was sweet and had everything we needed plus some. Rain is an excellent host and we would definitely stay there again.

We appreciated the fire pit and made s’mores.. enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool…The surrounding area was filled with a full day of fun things for my granddaughter to do. Really easy stay. Very clean. Good communication

This was just what we needed. Studio with comfy king bed and refrigerator/coffee machine/microwave. Designated parking spot in driveway. Couldn’t even hear the people staying in the other unit, and we loved that we could walk (~20 min) to the main downtown area. Would stay again!

Molly & Ben's place was so perfect for us! The location felt very private. The airbnb was extremely cozy, and very very clean. It was so nice to have access to Pawleys Creek; we spent alot of time early morning and at night just sitting on the deck watching wildlife. Having access to bikes, kayaks, and beach equipment was beyond convenient. Definitely my favorite AirBnB to date!

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Our family of six (including kids ages 7-17) had an amazing spring break stay at Tom and Janice's. The farm was our home base for a couple of college tours, and it could not have been more peaceful. We loved watching the river rush by from the deck, wandering aroud the beautiful walking paths, kayaking on the pond, and enjoying the cabin. The cabin itself was impossibly clean and stocked with everything we needed, and Tom and Janice were incredibly responsive. We enjoyed eggs and beef from their farm, and Tom was kind enough to take us on a tour and teach us about regenerative farming. We also loved ziplining at nearby Richland Creek Canopy Tours and eating at The Table in Asheboro. I highly recommend this special place.

This was a perfect quiet weekend get away for me and my husband. It was so relaxing and quiet. Everything we needed was provided so all we needed to do was relax.

It was a very pleasant stay. Peaceful and quiet set up. We had issues using our pin to get in but they were very responsive and the problem was rectified within 5 mins. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do within a few miles of the cabin.

The cabin was lovely and right on the river. We didn’t have much luck with the fishing unfortunately but that didn’t matter too much because we enjoyed how nice and peaceful It was on the floating dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the played a few games of cornhole that was available at the cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and no issues with cleanliness or odors as another review stated. In the photos the cabin looks pretty remote. However there are other homes/cabins next to it, so just be aware. The ones on either sides of us were empty while we were there so no issues. We loved the cabin and will likely be back for another weekend getaway.

My girl friends and I enjoyed our night getaway at Robert’s & Claudia’s beautiful cabin. True to the pictures, great location and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit the most & the BEDS? Very comfortable, a great nights sleep. Will come back any time to visit

Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

Peaceful getaway!!! Probably one of the best hosts air bnb has to offer as well!! Couldn’t have had a better experience and our furry baby highly enjoyed it too 💖 couldn’t recommend this spot more!
