Townhome vacation rentals in Cape Fear River

Book this place!! We had such a great time at the beach and in this Airbnb. Our group was comprised of 3 couples and 2 infants and we were so comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and made all of our meals with ease - one of the best equipped kitchens I've stayed in. We loved the location, truly a 3-5 minute walk to the beach (depending on how much you're carrying!), and a great view of the Sound. The Airbnb was bigger than I expected and having 2.5 bathrooms was great for our group size. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marooned Five as a family of five and we all love it! Our 2 younger kids love the loft and my older kid loves the second bedroom to himself. It’s not easy finding room for everyone when we travel but we don’t have to worry about it when we stay at David and Kris’ place. The two golf carts give us flexibility to split up and we also love riding bikes on the island. Marooned Five comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed here during the off season and prefer it but will also be back during the summer season. Some of our favorites to do here: climb Old Baldy, eat at Jules and Jailhouse, beach days, have a date sans kids at Bald Head Bottle, visit Turtle Central and complete their scavenger hunt around the island. We went to Sunday service at the Chapel and had breakfast afterwards at The Boathouse. We shopped at the Maritime shops and scheduled a guided kayak tour (that was canceled due to rain). But we’ll be back!

We had an amazing time at Janet’s beach home. It was close to the beach, clean, comforting, and walking distance to everything!!! Janet’s and her family was very responsive. if i needed something they was right on it! unfortunately the hot tub was down for our first 2 or 3 days due to the heating element going out, but they made sure to get it fixed right up in no time so we could enjoy. I appreciate how amazing and friendly they were. The neighbors were super friendly we even made a couple of friends during the visit. we felt welcomed and right at home. If you were second guessing Janet’s beach house this is your sign to BOOK NOW, i would recommend this home to my friends and family.

This rental was exactly as described in the pictures and description. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. The host provided detailed instructions for checking in and checking out, and everything worked well for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The town home was great! Clean and everything was pretty much provided for you. They left some snacks and waters too. It was close to the ocean, restaurants, and shops. Great communication with the hosts. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

The beds alone are worth even a 1 nght stay over a hotel. Great reponsive host. Would recommend and will stay again

We were three sets of couples came to NC for one of our best friends son memorial service. Our stay was wonderful. Samuel home made us feel right at home.Bedding was super clean and very comfortable. Made such a big difference to me. Kitchen was great with nice dishes. Pantry was stock with lots of basic items and ingredients. Towels were nice and clean. There’s nothing we could have asked to enjoy our stay. As much as we were so sad after the memorial service, once we arrived at Samuel residence it felt right us feel right at home. Samuel thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Always a pleasure staying at Sebastián and Sharons place. This is our go to spot whenever we are visiting Raleigh. Feels just like home! My son never wants to leave!

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our group! Just a short drive to the beach and close to great local spots and shopping. The process was user friendly and would definitely love to come back!

We had a basketball tournament at Raleigh convention center and Charles place worked out perfect for my 4 daughters and myself to stay.If they have the tournament again we will definitely book with Charles again .

I had a fantastic stay at from December 21st to 30th! The space was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated for the holiday season, making it feel like home right away. Jarmella was incredibly hospitable, providing us with a thorough orientation upon arrival and always being available for any questions. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare some holiday meals with family. The location was ideal, just a short walk from grocery stores and restaurants, and it was a great spot for exploring the area. Beautiful two-story townhouse by pond with walking path in a peaceful setting. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and feel at home and comfy space to hang out in together. Would definitely return!

Freda’s place was the perfect stay for me and my two boys on a short trip to Raleigh. It was clean, well decorated and comfortable! I really enjoyed the location - end unit, backing to woods. It was on a quiet cul-de-sac where my kids loved to ride their scooters out front. I’d highly recommend this place!

Perfect place for us! We were in town for a youth soccer tournament and it was so nice to have some extra space and ability to make breakfast. The home was even more spacious than I was expecting and everything was perfectly set-up for an Airbnb… just what you need for simple meals, toys for the beach, etc. And most important to me, it was so clean and fresh! Host was very communicative as well. If we’re ever back in the area, I won’t even look for another place before checking to see if this is available.

Our group of five had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Raleigh. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed the space was. There was plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy our time together without ever feeling cramped. The home was spotless and well-maintained, with top-notch amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed, the washer and dryer were super convenient, and the location couldn’t have been better—within walking or scooter distance to great bars, restaurants, and local attractions. We stayed at Amalias townhome just one night visiting my son as ECU. I wish we had more days to be able to fully enjoy the home. It is a hidden gem. We felt safe and although a townhome, it felt extremely private. We could tell a lot of thought when into the decorations. And my adult kids were posting it all in their Insta stories. Do not hesitate to book. This will be our first choice if we are ever in the area and the home is available. Thank you Amalia for such a great stay.
