This is a great location as it’s >10min drive from downtown and about 20 from Wrightsville Beach, while still being in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Also, Adam was responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place!

The Airbnb was very clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Woke up at night somewhat chilly; there are extra blankets in the chest across the room, but didn't realize that until morning. The gardens and property are very pretty and walkable after a long drive.

Really nice stay. Single room and bathroom in historic house. Short walk to Castle Street with great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Also walkable to downtown and waterfront. Katherine a very responsive host, thought of everything. Communucated frequently and left a list of restaurant recommendations. Complimentary bottle of wine and a corkscrew. Clean, well-appointed room. Snacks. A fridge and microwave. On a main street but set back, some noise but mostly very quiet and private. Charming. Just very nice and near perfect for one person or a couple.

Jays place is an excellent place to stay for a family of 2 or 3. Our family is a family of 4 including one 20 month old and a 3 year old. Jay was so kind to let us use the playpen that was in the shared laundry room but it this rental wasn’t quite big enough as they take naps and need a quiet place to lay. This does not affect our review since it’s something I should have paid better attention to. With that being said, the coolest part of our trip was watching the fighter jets fly above the house every morning (alert: if you’re fearful of loud noises, beware). Not sure if they fly that often or if it was just the time of year but nonetheless it was incredible. The rental was stocked with linen, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and the kitchen essentials. I especially appreciated the left over spices that other tenants left when they were done, and I did the same with popcorn and paper plates. The park was practically in the back yard and we walked over to it everyday. The grill was wonderful as we used it a couple times. Jays responses was always very quick and answered. If it were just me and my husband next time I would absolutely rent this place again.

Wow! This place is a paradise of a find. Bob met us at the door, gave us mini tour and offered suggestions for local eats and attractions. We felt at home the entire trip. This host goes above and beyond in providing the things you didn't even know you needed. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything. Local food is incredible. We were just several minutes to Wrightsville beach( absolutely stunning). We could not stop talking about how perfect this place is. Every single place we went had amazing customer service. This is possibly the best vacation spot we have experienced. I cannot recommend this place enough. This is a gem of a find. If and when we return to the area, this will be the only place we consider staying. This place gets ALL the stars!!!!

Absolutely perfect! I was looking for a small space to spend one night on my way to South Carolina, and had never been to Wilmington. This space was an amazing retreat; though it is off a main thoroughfare, you would have no idea. It was super serene, calming to all the senses, and had everything one would need for a short stay. Alexis was a gracious host, and I felt at home from the very beginning. Very generous parking, and super easy to bring a couple of suitcases into the door. This is only the second Airbnb that I have stayed at, and I am amazed at what folks can create with their spaces! Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

This place is an absolute dream! The location is so perfect and you will not regret staying here. The house is beautiful and in fantastic shape. You can tell the homeowners care about the home and truly make it a special place to relax and unwind. Carolyn and her husband Jonathan are the best hosts of anywhere I have stayed. They are super responsive and the kindest people ever. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wishes to have a magical visit to emerald isle. Thank you so much Carolyn and Jonathan! Nice spot, it's a small community area. Instructions to arrive are pretty clear. Nice kitchen and living room area. Clean, neat and organized overall. Really nice area of NC would visit again if the opportunity may come.

Great space! Walking distance to restaurants, stores, and parks. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Highly recommend. Perfect for 1 or 2 people.

Williams stay was amazing, he was very responsive, checked on me to make sure things were running smoothly. Clear and smooth instructions. I was very comfortable and would stay again where his stay was worked so well for me my boyfriend lives 15 minutes from the stay. Which was great for when he came to visit and pick me up for our dates. Also not far from the places we went to visit. Loved how small the space was just for me I was able to relax and enjoy my book.

I had a wonderful stay for a quick weekend trip to do some kayaking. This spot is the perfect location to visit Masonboro and Shark Tooth Island.

What a lovely experience. Cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Easy driving access to the beach and walkable sunsets on the sound. Perfect for my daughter and her friend and I to relax for a few days. Can’t wait to come back again.

Holly‘s place was exceptional! The setting was so peaceful and beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. I would recommend anyone wanting a great relaxing peaceful vacation to stay At Holly’s place. She is a great host and her place is absolutely stunning! We will definitely be coming back.

Jason was incredibly responsive and was able to accommodate 2 people perfectly. The place was clean including the bathroom. (If you're tall, the shower may be a tight squeeze but not too bad) It is about a 20 min walk to downtown, it is perfect for a scooter ride or a bike. About 35 min walk to Dorothea Dix Park. The neighborhood has lots of trees and greenery. Also enjoyed the comics to read inside.

Very accurate listing. Nice neighborhood, very close to the shopping center. Airbnb was very thorough about explaining things and I had a great stay!
