Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Breckland District

We had a lovely two nights at Happy Valley. It is in a peaceful setting. It worked out really well for us as a family of 3. It is so nice to have the cooking facilities by the hut and it was so lovely to have the fire pit for the evening. We would love to come back!

We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

Lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful, quiet location. The Shepherd’s hut is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Shepherd's hut, despite the British weather! Neill and John were very friendly and helpful, they provided some wonderful recommendations - the Sunday roast at the nearby Fox Inn being a stand out. The hut itself had everything you needed and is very stylishly decorated, while the grounds were peaceful and wonderful to explore with the children. We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful little stay at the shepherds hut. It was so peaceful & just what we needed to escape city life for a night. The hosts were super friendly, really responsive and had a few recommendations for what’s near by, would definitely recommend staying here.

The Shepherd Huts at Berry Farm are incredible! The craftsmanship and care that was taken to create this wonderful place is evident everywhere. It is perfecty rustic but is outfitted with all of the amenities you need to really unplug and unwind. We will be back again, and will miss walking through a woodland path to take a warm shower.

Delightful accommodation set in Clare’s beautiful garden, waking to birdsong and views out over rolling green fields. The hut is squeaky clean and very comfortable, great hot shower, extremely well designed and equipped to create a really cosy space both indoors and out. It’s worth knowing there are quite steep steps up to the hut: built for a strong, nimble shepherd! The village centre is a short walk up the hill and there are so many interesting old houses, independent shops and lovely places to eat. I recommend visits to the Guildhall and Little Hall, and stocking up on Suffolk Gold cheese. Clare is a wonderfully thoughtful host and couldn’t have been more helpful. I was in Lavenham to take part in a concert and she even produced an iron so I could get the creases out of my dress. Many thanks for providing the perfect home for my stay in beautiful Suffolk.

A wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! Eating pizza watching the sunset, the best nights sleep in the loveliest of beds & waking up to birdsong - we thoroughly loved our stay and really appreciated the little treats. We hope to come back! Thank you

Such a lovely place to stay. The walled garden is peaceful and private, lots of beautiful birds. The set up worked well for me. The shepherds hut was comfortable and good to sleep in, and the kitchen hut was well equipped. There was a lovely shade sail, outdoor chairs and a fire pit. Great shower and loo. All very clean and well presented. Hope to come back again soon. Local pub excellent and village very pretty. Sarah was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at Lexy's. The location is perfect - in walking distance of a nature reserve, close to shops (including a farm shop where you can pick your own strawberries) and 20 mins from a beach where we saw lots of seals! The shepherds hut was clean and well stocked, it had everything you need. It's set in the garden of a beautiful cottage, with lots of other cabins around which gives the place a community feel. It was very peaceful and quiet. We loved using the gas BBQ in the outdoor kitchen, and the beautiful pond on-site was always full of wildlife. We'd definitely stay again, and maybe get a treatment next time!

We loved our Valentine's getaway to this cozy little Sheppard's hut. Although tricky to get going, we really enjoyed the hot tub and were lucky to have some snow with made everything even more magical. It's so calming and you feel entirely alone.

This is everything an Airbnb should be. The craftsmanship of the hut itself was enough to impress. There wasn’t a single corner cut, the Le Creuset kettle alone was enough to illustrate this but I found myself constantly being surprised by the care put into the hut’s construction. The location was fantastic too. I thought I knew this area of Suffolk well, but found myself in a completely isolated area, and you’d do well to see another person there. You’re even well isolated from the other hut on the site. I also saw loads of glow worm larvae in the fields around the hut, so I imagine at some point in the year they’ll add to the magical experience.

What a perfect place to just switch off from the world and have a rest. The hut is just gorgeous with anything you might need to hand. Will be recommending and returning!

The perfect weekend get away! Jacobs Hut has everything you need for a lovely chilled time. The grounds are wonderful to explore and there are some great places nearby to visit. I would highly recommend!

Delightful location and accommodation . Excellent manual clearly explains everything. Very well thought out space. Slept so well in the super comfy bed with the lovely linen. Had Breakfast outside in the scenic cottage garden. Very cosy coming back in the evenings with the lighting in the garden. Bike are super handy and can cycle into Cambridge along cycle ways in 30 minutes. Or Histon village on the doorstep, I Walked to Stir cafe ( in David’s Recommendations) for an amazing brunch. Everything felt super clean and new in the hut. Perfect. Will definitely book again when I come and visit my daughter again in Cambridge. Thanks David and Laura for letting me stay in your very well thought out Shepard’s hut.

I would love to say, what a terrible place, so nobody else could ever find this perfect little piece of Norfolk, but honestly this is one amazing place, almost 360 degree beautiful panoramic views , that goes on for miles , Carolyn was an absolute Gem, we could not of asked for a better host, a welcome pack of wine, biscuits and snacks , there is everything you need in the hut, and talking of the hut, spotless and clean and everything you need for a relaxing break, amazing views and excellent accommodation and excellent helpful hosts, will definitely be back , thanks again for everything

We had a brilliant 3 night stay at Brushwood Nook! Natasha and Sean have created a relaxation haven at their Shepards Hut and were absolutely wonderful hosts. The hut had not only THE MOST wonderful views but felt completely private with a separate place to park and being well positioned so that you feel totally in your own little bubble! The Nook had all the amenities we could need and everything was spotlessly clean. The local area was beautiful and Natasha went above and beyond with both the number of recommendations and details of each - allowing us to spend more time enjoying what we were doing rather than planning! Thank you Natasha and Sean! We would love to stay again!!

We had a lovely stay at Woodcutters Lodge. The hosts were great, very good communication and instructions, local recommendations, thoughtful treats. We went for a peaceful weekend away and this fit perfectly. We took our 3 boy cats and they enjoyed all of the vertical space, making it a goal to get up on every surface. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed local produce from nearby farms. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and tastefully decorated. Had seemingly thought of everything and made the most of the space. Such a quiet location (except for the rooster but that was part of the charm for me). Local pubs and shops are all drivable from the location within 5miles I would say. Very clean and comfortable. Maybe the only thing missing that would have been nice was a tv but I do understand why there wasn’t one. Perfect place if you want to get away from the rush for a night or 2. And Sam was very helpful and friendly while also not intrusive on our stay.
