Coastal Holiday House in Hunstanton, Norfolk

MicheleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely gem of a place, and Claire is absolutely lovely and helpful. The place is immaculate, and such a wonderful home to step into. It's even better than the photos and such a well thought out and airy large space. I came with a 5 and 7 year old and grandparents and the walks to the town, beach, arcades, restaurants and funfair were just about right for them. We know North Norfolk well and usually travel about a fair bit, but it was hard to get away from such a perfect (and really quiet) spot with everything on our doorstep. The only advice I would give is that the under 5 notes are apt, though not necessary for the reasons given (baby supplies etc), but because there are cream kitchen seat cushions and rugs and lush furniture so you could feel a bit nervous with children not yet used to knowing the value of things and who could be a bit clumsy etc! Luckily mine were the perfect age for us all to enjoy it and I would highly recommend this house and host!

Greenacre Lodge, A Beautiful Country Retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
It really is as described - a beautiful country retreat. We really enjoyed sitting in the armchairs with the doors open upstairs looking out at the garden and the view beyond. Very peaceful and away from it all! We were out and about a lot during the week but enjoyed the time we spent in the Lodge. Vanessa was a very friendly host who responded quickly and often provided answers before we asked. Great to have an elector car charger available for our sole use too.

Kiln Cottage Idyllic relaxation

SueRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I recently had a wonderful five-day stay at Rebecca's kiln cottage, which truly felt like a hidden gem. The cottage was not only beautiful but also clean, comfortable, and set in peaceful surroundings. Being dog-friendly with plenty of lovely walks nearby made it even better. Rebecca, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with useful information about local amenities. She was friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would love to return. Thank you, Rebecca!

Modern Riverside Retreat, Norwich

JoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

2 Dormy House Perfect for Two

DominiqueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have had a great mini break at Amy’s pretty flat. Lovely breakfast views down towards the coast across the lawn and salt marshes. Fun to see the muntjac deer on the lawn. Super location as only 15mns walk to the beach and 5mns to the Ship Inn where we had a superb meal. The flat is well equipped with a very comfy bed and a practical kitchen. It has a pleasant feel. Plenty to do in the area. We will be back !

Secluded Picture Postcard Cottage with Pool

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lorna and Dean's cottage was a so comfortable for our group and a wonderful place to make our Easter memories. Everything is so well appointed and there are detailed notes about absolutely everything. The house is so lovingly lived in and has real cozy character. The garden and pool are stunning and a sun trap for the whole afternoon. The house is located within an easy distance to so many places, we enjoyed a visit to Sandringham while there. We would love to come back and stay in the future and would recommend to family and friends.

THE ANNEX IN HOLT - A modern rustic home

ZachRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic time in North Norfolk and Zoe & Toby’s home was a joy to come back to each night after a day of sightseeing. We had a child of 5 years and a toddler 15 months. They both loved the house, especially the toddler who loves going up stairs. We were made aware of the fire place and steps so knew it would be a minor inconvenience with the baby but that was fine considering all the pros of the property.

'Hushwing'-Perfect for 2. Idyllic rural retreat.

KenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very Peaceful. Even though we live in quiet Suffolk, we were impressed just how quiet it was. The accommodation is lovely. The most spacious of several one-bedroom places for two that we have stayed in. All looks new and immaculately clean. We hope to return. Although we have stayed in the area near the coast many times before, we were impressed by how beautiful the area is just a short way inland. At the same time it is very easy to reach the busier attractive coastal areas from there. There are good pubs and cafes in nearby villages. Juist one tip: it would be nice to have a small hand rail in the shower for older guests as the shower floor can be slippery when wet. Everything was on the level and easily accessible for my wife whose mobility is restricted through arthritis.

A quiet place to stay surrounded by lots of interesting wildlife, birds, deer, rabbits and cattle. The marshland is a very interesting place with plenty of very accessible footpaths out to the river, around the marsh and local villages, the pub and beyond. The cottage was spotless and the garden a pleasure to sit in. Thank you, Pip.

The Cartshed: Huge Skies and Beautiful Views.

SharonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We were very lucky indeed when we happened upon Nicola and Richard's Cartshed. Needing just one night's stay for a wedding we were attending in the area, this accommodation was extremely easy to book and both Nicola and Richard were responsive at all times, without being intrusive, a rare combination! We had booked taxis from the Cartshed to Oxnead Hall, but the taxi firm were having problems with a breakdown for our outgoing journey. This is where Nicola and Richard went above and beyond and Richard drove us over there (thankfully we didn't have to ask him to collect us!) The Cartshed is a gem, with it's own garden (unfortunately the weather was not conducive to sitting and drinking in the views, but we could see it was a real delight) and wonderful for guests dogs - yes, this place is dog friendly too with some lovely recommended walks in the vicinity. We had everything we needed, including some amazing freshly baked (by Nicola) brownies. Do not hesitate in booking.

We loved staying in the Nest and had a perfect long weekend in North Norfolk, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. Must see are Elm Hill in Norwich, North Norfolk coastal walk along from Wells-next-the Sea, and all the beautiful little villages all around like Binham, Little Walsingham, Happisburgh etc Try the local apple juice and strawberries from farm shops in late Spring/Summer. Wonderful place and great host who left some jam, butter, bread and milk for our breakfasts!

Quiet Peaceful Garden Annex - Heart of Norfolk

JoeRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Just had a few days stay at Judy and Philip's Garden Annexe, and to be quite honest, we didn't want to leave! It was spotlessly clean, spacious, cosy, and set in very peaceful surroundings. A beautiful garden surrounded the annexe, although the weather didn't permit us to use it. Our puppy Kobe enjoyed it! Judy and Philip were the perfect hosts, and I'm sure we will return.
