Lovely bedroom and bathroom which were very nicely decorated and very clean. Dinner and breakfast at the pub were very tasty and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for just off the A66 which made an excellent stop off place. Would thoroughly recommend.

Only negative is that we couldn't stay for longer! We stayed in the Garden room for 1 night at the end of our trip to the Lakes but will definitely be returning when we're back in the area. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, perfect for our springer spaniel - the dog blankets were extra helpful to have! Thanks again 😊

We had a lovely stay! The room was clean and just what we needed, the pub was a lovely country pub with good food!

Pretty good location. Everything is just perfect considering the price, except the room is bit of cold, remember to bring warm clothes!

On of the most beautiful towns we’ve ever been to. Richard was a fantastic host, everything was close by and the room was left clean and homely for us. Would 100% recommend. We’ll be back!

Excellent lodging in a lovely pub with a great selection of food and beers etc. Quiet location a couple of miles from Appleby centre. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay with a great bar, good wine selection and menus. It is an old inn with nooks and crannies, beams and smooth stones, arm chairs and outside spaces. The single room was very good, well planned, great en-suite. Towels were huge, white and fluffy. I needed a stopover on a long journey and couldn’t have done better.

Place exactly as described, Cat was really good at communicating with our group. We had some unrelated issues which she tried her best to help us with. A nice friendly welcome, all in all a great stay.

We stayed here for four nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! It's so peaceful and cosy. The cottage has everything you need, including beautiful views and a wonderful fireplace. An amazing place to relax and unwind. Warm rooms, a good shower, and a suntrap on the deck out front. There is good phone signal (and WiFi) if you need it, but it's a great place to be tech-free. Close to all of the Roman "attractions". Anne and Maurice were very friendly and welcoming. We will be recommending to friends!

Bulls Close is a wonderful Place and even more beautiful than we expected. We really enjoyed the beautiful Garden, the cosy cottage and all the little thoughtful details provided by Samantha. Austwick is the perfect location to explore the Dales- we recommend a tea in Faizor, the Malhalm Hike and the Ingleton Waterfall Trail. And a nice Pub Lunch with French-English Fusion cuisine and Patisserie in the local Pub.

Fantastic stay - we booked Little Winton as we were attending a wedding at Eden Barn. The location is perfect (5 minute car journey) and Little Winton was the perfect place to get ready beforehand. The accommodation is beautiful and the hosts have thought about the details. As our first air b&b stay they have set the bar high. We will be booking to stay again so we can explore more of Kirby Stephen.

Only stayed the one night on our way up to the Highlands, I was honestly impressed with Sarah’s lodge, perfectly clean, fresh linen, amazing bathroom. Shame I’m only allowed to give 5 stars, I could easily give 10. Well worth it. Coming up from London, it’s the safest I’ve felt in ages. Very peaceful and welcoming. Even our cat relaxed as soon as we got in! I can’t recommend enough! Thank you so much !!!

Working in the area, looked for somewhere affordable and this static fit the bill. Ideal for anyone needing a place to stay if working in the area and I'll be certainly coming back - the have the whole caravan for the price per night rather than a bedroom in a shared house makes this excellent value for money. The hosts are very helpful, friendly and welcoming !

clean, tidy worth it for what I paid got everything you need could do with a chest of draws in the room of stay for more than one nite other that that spot on booked in again

We absolutely loved our stay here. It's a great base for the lake's and the coast. With a 10 minute walk down to the train station you can go to Lancaster one way and Carlisle the other . There are great walks to do along the English Coastal Path taking in the beautiful scenery,a train trip to Ravenglass is also recommended. This Studio apartment is absolutely gorgeous and modern and we would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a great stay and hope to be back again.
