Vacation rentals with beach access in Allerdale District

Spacious and clean property, comfortable for a near-month-long stay, thank you for hosting!

We stayed here on our way to the Highlands as a stop over and it was perfect. There was myself, my partner and our 9 year old daughter. Deborah was very welcoming to us after such a long drive, she had prepared a lovely lunch of sandwiches and cake for us and left some milk in the fridge for a very welcome cup of tea and coffee. The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The weather was not fantastic but in the summer the garden would be lovey to sit and relax in. The highlight for my little girl was the jacuzzi bath which was fantastic! The place was very cosy and we easily could have stayed for longer had we had more time in our trip. The beach was very close which was much appreciated by our dog Bella. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to the Highlands.

The accommodation was neat, tidy and perfect to our stay at Lake district. Anthony greeted us very well with chocolates, was easily reachable for any concerns you may have. Kids also enjoyed the puzzle games, story books which were available and kept the kids away from the mobile phones. All in all it was a pleasant stay and thank you

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and i love a walkin shower/wet room. You were right about how hot it gets upstairs and I found putting the screen across the front in the morning. Absolutely perfect stay! The place was pure luxury relaxing, spotless, and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail and comfort was top-notch. Everything was great, Lauren was a great host, very attentive. I had a problem parking my van under the hight restriction and 2 mins later Lauren had sorted me a parking space outside. The place was great couldn't ask for more 😊

Yvonne welcomed us to her lovely little annex. The parking was great and safe for our little car. The room was light and beautifully decorated. Yvonne responded very quickly to any queries. We enjoyed our stay and it was very convenient for meeting up with our friends.

A beautiful cottage, so warm and cosy with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. A great base for accessing the nearby lakes and other local attractions. Being dog friendly ensured the whole family got to enjoy the trip.

A well loved and super clean cottage in a surprisingly quiet part of Arnside. The garden is a little gem after a long day out in good weather. Thoroughly recommend and friends say I’m pretty fussy.

A perfect place to spend the weekend in. Easy check in and very clean inside. Everything available inside with nice and clean beds and furniture. Has plenty of parking around. Lovely quiet location with great views of both the Solway Firth and the Mountains of the Lake District. The House was clean and cosy and we felt at home straight away. Our Host Claire was attentive and dealt promptly with our queries. Great communication throughout our stay. I Would highly recommend this place and will definitely look at going back.

Went to a friend's wedding at Kinmont House and Haylie's property is super nearby and perfect for catching up with other wedding guests. I was designated driver and it was close enough for me to easily do a couple of runs saving us any hassle with taxis. It's a spacious property with board games and a large kitchen - great for a bigger group. Plus there were two irons and a handheld steamer - so everyone was able to arrive at the wedding crease-free! The views from the front-facing rooms are just lovely and I would definitely consider going back to explore the local area.

Thank you Adam for a truly wonderful stay at your amazing house. Communication with you was fantastic and the house is brilliant, really handy for walking in the park opposite and popping into town. The private parking was a real bonus too. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy, smelled gorgeous and the beds were the best we’ve ever slept in! So comfy with gorgeous bed linen and luxury pillows. The house has everything you could ever want from a stay and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for making us so welcome in your fantastic house. We loved it. It was perfectly located for what we wanted to do, the view was amazing from the Patio breakfast and drinks. We were unbelievably lucky with the weather for late September, and didn’t need all the woollens that we had taken. It’s a steep hill to get to the place from the town, but very quickly got used to it. Overall. Super super happy with the place and if we come back to the lakes we would choose to come back here. (For the owners - many apologies for the broken glass, meant to replace but ran out of time).

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

It was easy to find, and communication with the host was smooth and helpful throughout. We really appreciated that the heating was on when we arrived in the evening—it made the stay feel extra welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay with a great view and so close to scafell pike. We struggled to find in the first place but the instructions were clear when on the right road and was our own fault. Can't fault the apartment itself has everything you need.

This place was what we needed. Little enclosed garden perfect for dog. Views were stunning. In flat was everything what you need. Owners were very welcoming and quick answering for anything we needed.We would love to come back there one day

Helen is an amazing host! Would definitely visit her again. She is very thoughtful and even had fresh milk ready for us in the fridge even though our booking was last minute. Had fresh towels,good bath products and clean house with fantastic views and all the amenities. She is very responsive and friendly to communicate with.
