Arnside is magical and we had the best time. The space was really nice and perfect for what we needed. Location is really great for access to woodland walks, and the town is just down the hill. Great restaurant called JJ Crossfields that had really nice food and the staff were lovely! We just had a really nice time in general :)

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

We had a fabulous stay at Hingabarn, a remote beautiful place, surrounded by wooded countryside with so many flower-filled meadows. Barn itself very clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and a very generous welcome pack! The drive up the track was fine, as per instructions just have to take it slowly and carefully. Thank you Paul and Barbara, we will be back!

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage, perfect for a quiet break. Set in a very nice garden, a short walk from the sea and with cycle routes directly into the forest. Host was very friendly and helpful, we had an excellent time.

Absolutely perfect little bungalow with everything you need for a quick stop or a longer stay. Even better than the photos. Super easy to find and clear instructions of how to get there, where to park and how everything works. Kelly was lovely and I even got some dog pats. I really wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in.

Beautiful location in a peaceful valley overlooking sheep and cow field. Has everything you need and the hot tub is a massive bonus. Could not recommend it enough.

Wonderful stay in a well equipped, super clean shepherds hut. The hut is set just off from the farm and yet it’s very private with the only others guests being sheep, their lambs and daily visits from cows and their calves. Amazing views and a hot tub to unwind in and enjoy the big sky. Communication was excellent! Super speedy and helpful responses each time we had a query. The hut makes great use of the space it has and has been finished to a high standard. The only problem we had was having to leave this fab place behind. Lots of lovely memories made. Absolutely book it up!

We had a fantastic stay! The lodge is in a perfect location with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking Lake Windermere. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. The perfect place for a weekend away in the Lakes!

We had an amazing stay at Amanda and Kevin’s beautiful cabin. We stayed for a long weekend and had a brilliant time, the cabin was even better than the pictures and is surrounded by gorgeous countryside. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend and we loved the hot tub! The cabin was extremely clean and had useful kitchen appliances and breakfast essentials. We loved seeing the friendly horse in the nearby field and collecting eggs from the chickens! Amanda and Kevin were so friendly, proactive and went the extra mile by posting my friend’s shoes that she left at the cabin back to her. We really appreciated all the great local recommendations. I would particularly recommend this cabin because of its location, it’s really private but still within walking distance of the beach. Thank you so much Amanda and Kevin!

Tranquil little hut at the base of Helvellyn, perfect location for a shirt stay surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District

This property is beautifully hidden away and truly feels like heaven on earth for those who want to feel off grid and submersed in nature and wildlife. The hot tub is easy to heat up and surrounded by trees. The fire pit is also the perfect place to make s’mores on an evening and is sheltered by the trees above so usable rain or shine. Robert was also extremely helpful showing how the faculties were used and made sure the fire wood was always topped up! Finally… the bed - would come back here just for that! Comfiest bed we have ever slept on hands down

We loved our stay in the camping pod, beautiful little peaceful place, we spent time exploring the lakes. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the afternoon and our little girl loved the games. Hannah was very responsive and a super host! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely perfect long weekend at Peasecroft. The place is gorgeous and so well kitted out. We took a projector and had a movie night - the blinds are the perfect projector screen ;-). We bagged three Wainwrights, did a boat tour, tried most of the pubs in Coniston, had a spa day at Low Wood bay... perfect weekend and amazing accommodation. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Loved our stay here. Pod was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Hot tub was lovely. Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, didn’t have any issues being next to the A69. Hosts were lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again

Fabulous little annexe, everything you need for a couple. Beautiful location, only 5 minutes out of Ulverston, with some fabulous restaurants. Easy access to all of the lakes, some fabulous walks and activities. Thoroughly recommend staying here. Very friendly and responsive host, lives next door so on hand for any issues and gives good recommendations for what to do and restaurants in the area.

The pod was perfect for our stay in Coniston, being located in walking distance of the town and its lovely pubs. The pod had amazing views and had everything we needed. Mark was very welcoming and we’d recommend this stay to anyone.

Linden’s space was absolutely perfect! Everything you need for a chilled get away. Although on her family property it’s very private and you have your own space. She was there when we arrived to show us around and how to work the hot tub. She’d even lit it before we got there so that was fab. We used the BBQ facilities provided and sat and watched the very friendly horses at our decking into the small hours. Right by town for anything you need but you feel far away in your own wee world. The host was friendly and there if any help was needed! Will absolutely be back.
