It is a five minute drive from the historic village of Haworth and is a perfect location for visiting the Brontë parsonage where the Brontë sisters lived and the moors which inspired their writing, the Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Saltaire. The Lodge Retreat is nestled at the bottom of a secluded garden pathway in the sleepy suburb of Southbourne and is a stones throw from Bournemouth’s award winning beaches. There’s plenty of free street parking and more often than not, you can get the street space directly outside of the property. Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
