This is truly the perfect airbnb for a family visiting Cloudcroft! You can tell that the owners love this home and put a lot of heart, thought and creativity into decorating it and filling it with high quality furniture, bedding and kitchenware. We had everything we needed to cook, relax and get a good night sleep. Our kids especially appreciated the games, books, Roku and hot chocolate and parents enjoyed the comfy mattress, fun free samples and well stocked kitchen. We've stayed in a lot of different airbnbs but the kids said this one is the best in the WORLD! The location is perfect for walking to the town center or many trail heads. The hosts are super friendly and easy to communicate with.

This house did not disappoint! This place is ideal for military members and their families visiting for holidays or vacation it’s 6 mins from base and 15 mins from white sands. Game room and pool where the high light of the stay especially if you have teenage or younger children.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything we needed was there! Looked like the pictures and the location was perfect to get to wherever we needed to go. We definitely look forward to staying there again sometime!

It wasour Anniversary and got Kevins place for locatoin and after looking at a few pictures i was sold. Granted it was a little much for my wife and it having 6 beautiful bedrooms 3 full bath and 2 0r 3 half baths a spacious garage. But it was everything my wife and i wre looking for.

We had a great stay in Alamogordo. It was perfectly located near everything and a short distance from White Sands National Park and Cloudcroft. The kitchen is huge and had all the necessary items. We would stay there again.

Beautiful getaway with my elderly parents. This place was perfect, as there were no stairs for them to climb (on the first floor), and the beautiful master bedroom was located on the first floor with a walk-in shower. The design and layout are outstanding, and the descriptive photos accurately portray this gem in the mountains. I highly recommend!

This is our fourth time staying at Rhonda’s! We love this place for any season. Rhonda is an amazing host and the house is perfect for our family.

Tammy was a great host. She answered my questions even before I reserved the weekend. The place was in easy walking distance to anyplace in town. On the drive home I have already recommended this place to a friend for a nice getaway.

The view was absolutely amazing and beautiful. It was clean and exactly what we needed during our time of need .

This is a great location in the small town of Cloudcroft. Easily walkalbe to everything. Very nicely equipped space - good light, good appliances, comfortable bed, good natural ventilation, nice shared balcony. I would definitely stay here again.

We love Cloudcroft and this unit! We stayed last year for a month and were excited it was available again for the weekend this year. It’s walkable to all the restaurants and shops of Cloudcroft and peaceful on the back deck. Will hopefully stay again!

This place was exceptionally clean and exceeded our expectations, making our stay incredibly welcoming and stress free. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a warm, open space. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are well-stocked and cozy, complemented by a convenient full bathroom. The bedroom features a small couch and a spotless, inviting bed. The ensuite bathroom is fully stocked with fresh, white towels and was immaculately clean. This peaceful retreat allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the mountain air and explore the charming local shops. The host had great communication and made everything easy by sending us important directions and house rules ahead of time, which we really appreciated. We would love to reserve this place again for our future weekend getaway in Cloudcroft!

We stayed here for 4 nights and was a great location! Easy to find and has everything you need! Love the common area. Such a beautiful area. The location is right off the hwy so you don’t have to worry about taking a steep dirt road which is nice! Quiet and comfortable beds! Also the water pressure in the shower is amazing which is nice after a day at White Sands or hiking. There’s tons of hiking spots as well!

We spent a lovely long weekend at the Locomotive Lodge condo with our pup and toddler. The cabin was comfortable, very clean, and just right for what we needed. It snowed one day and the cabin was warm and cozy. Anjelica was friendly, responsive, flexible. Everything was perfect and we loved the grounds, the pond, the hiking trail right by the property...Couldn't have asked for anything more!

We had a wonderful stay, this condo is very clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed Spring Break 2025. The weather was beautiful but expected snow during the weekend. Luckily, we were prepared and brought groceries just in case we were unable to get to town. We ended up being iced in for 1 1/2 days but it was all good because the place had all the comforts of home. The condo was spacious enough that we all had our own spaces. Once the weather cleared and the ice melted, we were able to enjoy the outdoors. The decor of the home was a great representation of New Mexico!

Blake and Tammi were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We have stayed in Spur Landing before and love the convenient walk into town. There are always deer to observe every morning and evening in the backyard.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again sometime! A great location that is close to White Sands National Park. We loved that the property has its own hiking trail. Anjelica provided clear check in instructions and gave great food recommendations. We felt so relaxed and at home here!
