Sequoia Mtn Home,Top 1%,A/C, PupsWelcome, Views!

Our stay at Joni’s Sequoia Mountain home was absolutely perfect! It was the ideal escape from the Phoenix heat for our multigenerational family. The cabin was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly clean. A truly tranquil retreat where we could relax and reconnect. The space was impressively well stocked with everything a family might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras like board games for the kids. Every detail was considered. Joni was an exceptional host. She is communicative, and helpful. Her responses were always prompt, and the guide she provided was full of useful information. She went above and beyond by recommending local attractions and even kept us informed about traffic conditions that could affect our drive. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. Joni is truly a perfect host, and we look forward to returning!

Romantic Mountain Retreat in Pinetop-Lakeside

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed with Lisa for 8 months as a 1st time traveler and would advise any other travelers to stay with her as well! From the beginning, when I first communicated with Lisa, she was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Prior to reserving this property, I had been denied reservations by other property owners for questionable denial reasons. However, Lisa never displayed any discriminatory behavior during the reservation process or my stay. In fact, Lisa made me feel welcomed throughout my time staying at her property! I rarely needed to call upon Lisa, but when I did she always provided a quick, effective and fair resolution to my issue. The community is full of medical travelers, several fellow travelers have raved to me about the property how it is the perfect size for someone on a travel contract, well maintained and offers great amenities. One of my colleagues said “if I had stayed in this place I would have for sure extended my contract”. Lisa and her property are both jewels!!

Pinetop Cabin w/ Game Room, Fire Pit & Grill

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I appreciated that it looked exactly like the pics. It was all newly remodeled and super clean. We loved the master shower and how much space there was throughout to keep our things. It’s an amazing place and accommodated our group of 10 easily. We will definitely stay there again! We loved the dog run in the back so our little dog could let himself out without us having to worry. Thanks again! .

Having stayed at several BnBs I can easily say that this was the most cozy one! Saying Diana goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home would be an extreme understatement. So satisfied with our stay here and if we find ourselves back in the area this will be our first choice!

Private Modern Guest House in the Forest

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed here for a couple of nights with my son and dog while exploring the mountains, we had a great stay without any issues. It's a great location with easy access to/from the main roads but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, with plenty of area to walk an animal if needed, surrounded by trees but with an open view of the sky. The place was very clean and well taken care of, and comfortable to relax in after a long day. I appreciated the room darkening shades and comfortable bed as I like to sleep in, and the barn doors are a nice aesthetic touch. Overall it was a very nice, comfortable, and well furnished place to stay while we were up in the beautiful mountains.

Get away in the pines.

CandyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This sweet spot in the White Mountains of Arizona is small in size, but mighty in heart! Everywhere we looked, there was another thoughtful touch, from toothbrushes to paper plates, hair dryer to lists of places to visit, to a long hand held shower head and supplies of all sorts in the closet and cabinets. The bed was very comfy, and the surroundings are extremely peaceful. We felt very safe there, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone enjoying a get away in beautiful Northern Arizona!

New! • Luxe Golf Course Cabin • EV Charger • Grill

First Class, enjoyed feeding the pet Blue Jay and Squirrel in the morning. Having a cocktail on the porch in the evening in an environment of peacefulness. Walking on the golf course at dusk. Great BBQ and kitchen was well supplied. One suggestion, a portable clothes hang behind the door in the master bathroom as the closet is not available. This is the third cabin we have rented in Pinetop, This was the most comfortable! Tom Mosher

Your guide to Pinetop-Lakeside

All About Pinetop-Lakeside

People have been drawn to the sister cities of Pinetop and Lakeside, Arizona, since the 1880s, when Mormon pioneers first settled in the area. A century later the two communities officially merged as Pinetop-Lakeside, a popular getaway destination known for its abundance of outdoor activities. The cities are nestled at the foot of the White Mountains, where they border the Fort Apache Indian Reservation and the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Pinetop-Lakeside is a popular spot for the vacation homes of desert-dwelling Arizonians, yet there are plenty of lakeside cabins up for grabs for tourists. True to its namesake, the area is surrounded by thick pine forests and 50-odd alpine lakes, perfect for the unbeatable combination of waterfront recreation and fresh mountain air.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Pinetop-Lakeside

Pinetop-Lakeside uniquely experiences all four seasons thanks to a Mediterranean dry-summer subtropical climate. During the summer months, there’s plenty of sunshine, and temperatures are comfortably hot — typically in the high 70s and low 80s Fahrenheit during the day and dropping to the mid-50s at night. From fall through winter, temperatures steadily begin to drop, often falling below freezing at night, and the area sees increasing clouds. By November, Pinetop-Lakeside is primed for its snowy season, which typically brings 8–10 inches each month through spring. Still, temperatures are tolerable during winter days, averaging in the 40s and 50s.

Top things to do in Pinetop-Lakeside

Woodland Lake Park

Equidistant from the communities of Pinetop and Lakeside is this pretty little park, where a horseshoe-shaped route circles a reservoir. The area is also pet-friendly, with playgrounds and volleyball courts as well as the requisite features of this lake community: a fishing pier and a boat launch.

Ice Cave Trail

Among the more than two dozen trails in the White Mountain Trail System, Ice Cave Trail (#608) is popular for hiking due to its relatively easy trek and pretty views criss-crossing Porter Creek. The main attraction is a lava tube about midway into this 7-mile loop, and the trailhead is only a 10-minute drive north of town.

Fort Apache Historic Park and Kinishba Ruins

For a change of scenery, plan a visit to Fort Apache, an easy 45-minute drive from town and home to an incredible collection of buildings and ruins dating to pre-Columbian Mogollon culture, which flourished in the 13th through 15th centuries AD. Located in the Fort Apache reservation, Kinishba Ruins are a National Historic Landmark comprising more than 400 rooms standing two and three stories high.
