Plaza Theatre

As an El Paso landmark, the Plaza Theatre has hosted shows, plays, and concerts since its opening in 1930 and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. A visit to the restored theatre is an experience in itself, from the moment you lay eyes on its Spanish Mission-style exterior to its mosaic-tiled floors, wrought-iron banisters, and pipe organ.

Insights Science Museum

The Insights Science Museum hosts a variety of exhibitions, a good number of which focus on paleontology, including dinosaurs, bones, and fossils, as well as zoology, biology, and astronomy exhibits. There’s an interactive kids’ area here too.
